Nah, it's because those Memphis s get a hard on whenever they play the Spurs. Still not over that asskicking we gave them in the WCF.
Since the Spurs have gotten Pau his brother Marc tends to go off against the Spurs. Obviously he's motivated to want to beat his older brother. Another reason why the Spurs need to get rid of Pau.

The best part is he makes the shot after stepping out of bounds.

I’m worried that now calling him “slow” will have a different connotation. .

Spurs dodged a bullet, imagine having Derek White, Bertans, the coyote, anyone in the building not getting minutes so this guy can work on his pump-fake all game. Thanks memphis.

his lack of explosion (and I say as one of the worst players in the league in relation to that), kills any chance of him being anything more than a role player

letting him go to take cancernelli was a big big mistake
I guess PATFO knows a thing or two about professional basketball that you (or I for that matter) don't

That better shows how wide open he was when he got the ball.
That whole sequence is like the most Kyle Anderson thing ever.

So glad he found a new squad. This is who he is, and whatever intangibles he brings to the game, just isn't enough to overcome what he doesn't do offensively.

This is the comparison for resigning Anderson. Bertans. ing useless Bertans. The FO made the completely wrong choice here. I'm not a huge fan of KA, but he has utility and does multiple things, plus would be instantly our best perimeter defender. Bertans can't even shoot the ing ball that well.

As I said, I was all willing to believe that he could be coached out of whatever mental blocks he had to being aggressive offensively. But at this point, you can't really blame anyone else. It's like saying "Well if only MKG learned to shoot instead of doing whatever the he does when he tosses the ball in the vague direction of the net." Like yeah, it would have been nice, but it didn't happen. That's how we probably have to start looking at Anderson, that it "didn't happen" rather than "hasn't happened."

Kyle Anderson was a role player on a roster that wasn't good (or settled) enough to need role players . . .

Until the over the backboard shot, he looked like Charles Barkley about to hit a golf ball.

Lol. It is hilarious he swishes that circus shot at the end. I think he definitely needs to play pg. He just is not comfortable off the ball.

I don't understand the fear of shooting for n NBA players. On one hand, it shows how good parts of his game are but on the other it's probably the worst trait possible in a professional athlete.

Good decision in the off season.

Good for him for getting the bag, but Memphis has really misused him..I don't know why you would sign a player for so much money, yet not have a plan to utilize him as an on-ball player, knowing that he's useless off the ball..now his confidence is lower than ever on offense to the point where he should be used as a bench defensive specialist piece like MKG..

Hopefully they give him a shot if the big cancer and Mike Conley are traded..

people still believe teams should put the ball on Fathead's hands....

.... the slomo crossover leading to nothing but a terrible bailout pass out to a guarded player on the wing dabom2
