Weatherizing is a completely exotic cost never to be heard of with our rapidly shifting climates.
gtfoh... We are business friendly, we fck customers over. Welcome to Texas.
that is essentially the meaning of "pro-business", plus tax favoritism and regulatory capture.

    The pendulum...

So pendulums know how to cheat and don’t give a fck about “customers”
bunch of BS with your horrible analogies.
There wasn't an analogy in the response. That's called an idiom or figure of speech.

Paperwork failures worsened Texas blackouts —

sparking mid-storm scramble to restore critical fuel supply

Oncor, which delivers power to the Permian Basin — the state's most productive oil and natural gas basin —

had unwittingly shut off some of the state's power supply when it followed orders to begin the outages.

Oncor and other utilities didn't have good lists of what they should consider critical infrastructure, including natural gas facilities —

simply because natural gas companies failed to fill out a form or didn't know the form existed,

“I was surprised at the amount of [critical] infrastructure that hadn't been identified,"

natural gas supply in the state hit its lowest point during the storm, experts said. Nye told legislators during his testimony that they were so concerned about the supply of natural gas that his chief operating officer called him and said:

“I'm just going to turn on the Permian and see what happens."

“And we just turned it on,"

By the end of the week, Oncor had added 168 new natural gas facilities to its “critical" list — a nearly five-fold increase from just a few days prior.

    “That's a failure of regulation,"

“That's all it is. It's relatively simple."
FreeDumb's just another word for ing dumb TX cowboys

more than 100 natural gas production and transportation executives, power generation executives, regulators and ERCOT engineers, tuned in to a conference call.

The goal: Make sure the natural gas system remained functional during the storm.

“big supply cuts" of natural gas. Production had plummeted at the wellheads —

crews couldn't go out on icy roads and

the water that comes up from the ground with oil and gas during production froze and created a mess for operators if trucks couldn't get to the wellheads to move it.

    Writer my ass...

You used a figure of speech to make a COMPARISON between unregulated energy markets to a pendulum.

So live with it, it’s Bull .

Power to at least 150 gas production sites in the Permian Basin was cut off because companies failed to fill out a form designating their operations as critical infrastructure.

But but... free market good... regulation bad... We were all free market-y and didn't have no gub-mint over lookin this.

I'm sure it was Democrats fault. Biden did it.

You don't have grandkids. I like how you jumped to your academia when I talked about accomplishments. Shows where your heart is. What does your god think of that?

I basically implied you could be every bit as "accomplished" whatever the fck that means.
I guess make more money? What?

Oh I forgot. You are at the top of your field "expert", where I am one of many.

you said I have grandkids I said I'm more accomplished. My grandkids are my major accomplishment. I have a lot of professional accomplishments but I don't compare those.

I don't know where you stand amongst your peers but I have a feeling you don't actually work in a lab. If you did you would constantly be around people who know as much about that as you think you do and you would not feel the need to preach about it all the time here like you're teaching some class. I feel like you're around uneducated people a lot for some reason and that they look up to you as some kind of authority figure and it goes to your head a little. I have no doubt you got the degree that you say you have but I do doubt that you actually do it professionally.
