The dangers, pitfalls and follies of trying to predict the future by tanking and with future draft choices whether protected or not becomes visible in this thread. People getting riled up, emotional, and absolutely illogical over "what-ifs" far into the future. The only trades that seriously matter are those which have an instant effect on some team for next season. "All else is sound and fury, signifying nothing."
So it will probably be a week before we see any movement on the Durant trade probably 98% of trades that could be done have been done.
Did somebody sign Forbes yet

Kevon Looney has agreed to a three-year, $25.5 million deal to stay with the Warriors, per @wojespn.
Skinny Dollar Tree Bonner.
We're about to max Bryn Forbes aren't we?
Holding our money open so we can take it up the ass for future draft picks from the lakers tbh
If you got a weak stomach I would turn away
Damn Brogdon fetched less of a return than Derrick White
I really think we're part of a KD deal but, if we took on WB and 2 unprotected 1st's for Doug and Cap space I'd like that return better than holding onto space...of course we'd waive WB immediately
Whos getting the Mcdermoot bag this time? I
nah, I kinda expected that the moment DJ got traded. But still, for as long as I’ve been a Spurfan (since 01), I really can’t remember the team making any 12:01 type of signings. If they have, it must be pretty rare. In any case, I expected them to make C level signings, maybe even B at best. After the trade, that went down to C at best. But for them
not to have signed anyone? Just seems weird.
wtf why patfo didnt want to include huerter in djm trade... atl just traded him for a bag of chips...
Per Woj, Jazz are trading Gobert to the Wolves.
Wow...didn't see that one coming..
I don't totally understand KAT and Gobert together, but we'll see.
Not sure I see the fit with KAT defensively. Neither can defend the perimeter.
Patrick Beverly on the move again lol
Adrian Wojnarowski @wojespn
3mLeandro Bolmaro is also in the deal to the Jazz, source said.

The Timberwolves are sending Malik Beasley, Patrick Beverley, Walker Kessler, Jarred Vanderbilt and multiple first-round picks for Gobert, sources tell ESPN.
