i knew this was the game for manu
All the home teams winning tonight. Jersey, Miami, SA, and Pho is up by nine at the half.
i knew this was the game for manu
was nazr benched because he shot a 3?
Peabody, u r an IDIOT.
Everyone was talking sweep after game 2, and they were IDIOTS. Manu disappeared, and so did our chemistry. We've won this one but the series is not over. When we are leading by 22 in the 4th in game 6, then bring your trash talk.
Why must people crow before the fat lady has sung? In my experience, it is the most assured way to bring on an upset.
the server is very slow, not responding
nazr was benched because he has been worse than worthless
Thank god
fantastic response by the Spurs to the Kings fantastic run
WOW. These Kings are tough, tough, tough. SPurs showed champ style ball tonite coming thru and executing in the end to seal a win... like the team we all remember. An outstanding game from both sides.
ron was on fire this game in 4
had 5 steals
held his head when kings were down 15 was impressed with him
Naw, 8 points from Bibby is disappointing. Sayin' it like it is, we had our opportunities even without Bibby shooting well. Continuing the defense at the basket would have made our world a little brighter for sure.
Keys to the win tonight, in no particular order.
(1) Outrebounded Sacto 40-30.
(2) Got to the free throw line and hit the shots.
(3) Bonus offense from Bowen (16 points).
(4) *27 assists on 39 made shots*. That is Spurs ball.
(5) Shot over 57%. Finding the open man (see #4) helps.
(6) Timmay "try and stop this " Duncan.
(7) Manu "back to normal" Ginobili.
(8) Tony Freakin' Parker.
Ex, I'd agree with you except that's what people were saying after game 2 (and game 2 of the Finals last year, remember?). However, we then fell in a hole of our own making on both occassions and allowed both teams to get back in the series.
We don't seem to be able to slow Sacto down, so I don't see why they won't continue to exploit the holes they've already found.
Game 6 will be yet another fight, batton down the hatches!
So...
The Spurs outshoot the Kings 57% to 44%.
They outrebound the Kings 40-30.
They ring up 27 assists to the Kings' 17.
The Big 3 collect 72 points on 26-40 shooting (65%) and 22 rebounds.
But the game still was tied in the last two minutes?
What kind of 8 seed is this?
37 points in third
29 in 4
pop got on the spurs at half
wells also cold late in game
Our little guys were all crashing the boards and the results showed!
Manu 9
Parker 4
X 4
Barry 3
Finley 3
Kings still had 8 more FGA, but that was mostly due to turnovers. We need to pressure Artest's dribble more. He has no handles. I don't even think I've seen him dribble with his off hand.
Yo.
Great Game. Spurs executed to perfection in the last three minutes after the Kings tied it.
You played well and the only guys we had going were Bonzi, Artest, and Bibby sparoadically. That won't get it done.
Though, Ron Artest will be killing himself after this game and will answer with a statement game in Sacramento.
Congrats and enjoy the win... while it lasts.
Kings in Seven![]()
Props to Sacto for an intense series. Looks like Bonzi will get his payday.
And props to the SPURS for showing their championship character tonight.
Now let's deliver a game 6, WCSF v Lakers in 2003 type display over there in CA and knock these mofos the outta here!
Just recovering from my nervous breakdown but damn HAPPY
Just recovering from my nervous breakdown but damn HAPPY
is bonzi in a contract year?
Not your typical 8th seed. These guys are better than everyone else in the playoffs cept for the Spurs and Mavs.
We need to keep Artest from stealing everything in sight (5 steals tonight). That's what let Sacto get back in the game late.
When Artest makes defensive plays, it amps up his offensive game (eg his 14 point fourth quarter when he was making plays, vs. ten the other three quarter combined).
I meant in West conf, let me clarify
