Because I think it's ed people are more invested in this series rather than the one we're playing against Portland, it seems.

We can beat the Thunder, or Clippers, regardless to who we get. I just think it makes us look really ty to be trembling in our boots at the thought of facing OKC in the conference final and makes us look like a terrible champion if we do win. If we are to win it all, we have to expect to face the other best team in the West.
Portland is a nonfactor, that is why, when we were struggling vs Dallas, nobody gave a about other series but since Portland is a joke, we can look to other series for entertainment

It's possible they are, I'll have to see game 3 to make that assessment. It's possible they turn that series around if they dominate us in game 3. Not that I think it'll happen, but I don't think the Blazers are a "joke", they're just inexperienced.

Thunderefs in 6.... Choke Paul = career loser for life - can't make a free throw when it matters, chucked up an absolutely TERRIBLE three to lose us the game....

Also, at him having the nerve to say "I'm a point guard, not a shooting guard" when we all know he really means "I'm deathly afraid to shoot the ball down the stretch in the playoffs"

If we even want to have a chance of winning anything significant with this core, we need to a.) sign someone like Ariza this summer as because the small forward position is by far our biggest weakness, and b.) run the offense through Blake, not the $107 million choker....

Until they prove they arent a joke by winning game 3, they will be looked over, thats what losing by 20+ twice does

It really is the defense, IMO... I mean, KD and WB are going to score... but what's the gameplan with Butler wide open for 3??? Doc was saying he was allright with Ibaka hitting 2s because they're not 3 pointers, but then they pull that with Butler... makes no sense...

To be fair, Ibaka blatantly bearhugged Blake on one of those 3's and of course it wasn't called....

The biggest problem with the defense is that Barnes, Granger, and Dudley have all been TERRIBLE, especially Dudley, who should never see playoff minutes.... we desperately need Ariza this summer, tbh....

OKC probably has the most energy of any team I've seen. Once they go on a run, the game is virtually over right then no matter what you seem to do. If you slow down or stop the Thunder from going on a big run then I think they're easily beatable and why the Grizzlies were able to draw them to 7 games.

I've never understood the small market mentality of San Antonio. San Antonio has more people than Dallas. People act like San Antonio is the same size as Milwaukee, Sacramento, or Salt Lake City.

agreed with this. I want to see the Clippers win, but I'm not going to lose sleep if OKC wins. , I expect OKC to get the benefit of calls most of the time, per the par. That's what pisses me off the most about them and 2012 in particular. I already figured OKC would win this series.

But I am actually much more focused on the Portland series than this Clipper/OKC series.

I'd rather Spurs face Clippers because of my officiating worries, but if Spurs have to face OKC, so be it. Part of me would like to see it happen, just to see if Spurs can right the wrongs from 2012.

Its the media bias against covering them that keeps that mentality alive

Reggie Jackson was going IN on Jamal too... always finishing with a layup... a wing isn't going to fix that... Clippers are scoring a lot too, which isn't bad either, but you need to be able to stop somebody...

Actually, it was Collison that was really getting abused, tbh.... honestly, I kind of hope we don't bring him back, dude's reverted back to his choking ways from Dallas in the playoffs anyway....

I feel a bit like this as well.

The dream scenario for these playoffs would be that we redeem the Dirk foul (check), the 2012 series, and 6.. If all of those happen this will be the greatest Spur championship run of all time.

Remember one of the first things that sparked our feud last year?..I remember saying something to the tune that CP3 was scared to shoot the ball and you refuted my take with a Chris Paul shot chart in crunch-time..how things have turned, tbh..

Fair? -10 points son. This game was hardly fair:

63 seconds in, 3 OKC fouls. The Fix! is on.
Especially Ibaka - who had to make the best of his 29 minutes due to foul trouble. He still had 20/6 on 9% shooting.

I didn't watch enough to really see if the officiating was tilted in OKC's favor as usual. Clippers take so many stupid shots, and when Ibaka is hitting at that rate, that explains it all.
