Wow, Riley doing his magic.
Will Bosh stay?
Will James stay?
I don't like Bosh to Houston and Parsons to Dallas. Parsons is way too good to pair with Rick Carlysle on a team that gave us trouble.

Signing Granger is the equivalent of bringing Battier's corpse back for another season tbh.
Pretty amazed at Granger getting the bi-annual rather than the veteran's minimum, tbh. He looked pretty done, Heat must be banking on him returning to at least some measure of his former self.
Granger has taken over the Gilbert Arenas "how did he go from being so good to nonexistent at an age where he should be in his prime".

Heat strike deals with Josh McRoberts and, according to @WojYahooNBA, Danny Granger. LeBron, I'm told, was made aware of McRoberts pursuit
Bosh to Houston is much scarier on paper than it is on the court, tbh..
They have one of the 5 worst coaches in the league, no system and a high-usage star that can't play playoff basketball..Bosh would be a spot-up shooter, just like he was with the Heat..
Their defensive frontcourt would be terrifying, though..
On paper, yes. Dwight has gotten so bad now that he is not as athletic, I'm just not a believer. As long as we can guard Harden, I'm just not as scared. Bosh can be good, but he sure disappeared in the finals. How do we know that won't happen again on a team where Harden will jack up tough shots rather than pass to his teammates?
Bosh to Houston would mean that either Anthony or Gasol goes to the Heat.
Chris Bosh is going to sign with the Rockets he isn't going to turn down a max deal at age 30 and he is from Texas
Better Orlando than miami or OKC. And at $8 mil/per he's overpaid now.
Well. Hopefully...
Channing Frye getting more than bobo
We've officially signed Bryce Cotton.
Not sure if that means he gets a roster spot.
I think only in a sign-and-trade unless they cancel the mcroberts deal.
edit: i meant to quote the person saying heat would get gasol or melo.
They don't have to "cancel" the McRoberts deal - regardless of what Bosh does. If he stays in Miami, McRoberts gets the MLE. If he goes to Houston, McRoberts' contract comes out of the cap space Miami gains from Bosh leaving.
they could possibly sign gasol with the leftover money then, but not melo.
They could sign either one, but it would have to be at a huge discount. Gasol would still be reasonably likely considering that it would be a significant pay cut compared to last year (but still considerably higher than the MLE), but it would be virtually impossible to sign Melo (who is looking at a max, or near max, deal).
