^^Probably that Holyfield was better than somebody like Tyson, yet the latter receives all the hype and credit..
I am old enough to appreciate Holyfield and what he did during his prime but wtf is that supposed to mean by Thomas?

Thanks, I couldn't play the video.

They replayed the game, so I recorded it. Just looked at that ending. There were 10.6 seconds on the clock when the Spurs inbounded. The clock started instantly as the ball touched Kawhi's hand. The ball crossed the mid-court line with 2.9 seconds left on the clock. It was well over the line when the clock read 2.8.
It was close. But zero doubt that it was across the line in time. When you slow it down, and can watch the tenths of seconds click off, it's really not even that close. By the time the full 8 seconds elapsed, the ball was way, way over.
I heard Kawhi may have pumped his sneakers up beyond the legal limit. You might want to look into that. There must be some way you can discredit the win.![]()
So Kevin Durant will bite part of Kawhi's ear off?
Plus our coach sucks, our GM is clueless, all our guards suck, at least two of our bigs suck, Matt Barnes is a Warrior now and the new coyote isn't as good as the old.
lol what? there are very few guys who make THAT 3, that was ridiculous. that's the kind of shot spurfans love to mock when other stars take and miss.
how many game winning 3's have there been in the NBA this season, and how many game saving blocks at the rim have won games this season?
About to exceed Scottie Pippen as the best two-way forward of all time....
but in order to do that, need at least one more le in the Leonard era, and at least one more Finals MVP......
------------------
would love to see Kawhi against Scottie, what a match up would that be.....
Kawhi absolutely destroyed James Harden, however let's be honest this type of play is not sustainable; Not matter how well he plays, we cannot expect him to keep shooting 80% beyond the 3 point line. Having said that, let me repeat he absolutely destroyed James Harden!
Both scored 39 points, which is a ridiculous numbers for either of them, but Kawhi did it by taking 2 fewer shots. Kawhi had more rebounds, twice as many, more steals and more blocks. Harden had 12 assists with 7 turnovers, Kawhi had 5 assists and only one turnover. That is 6 turnovers for 7 assists, if you think about it. Horrible ratio.
To only worrying fact is that Kawhi had to play inspired basketball and it was a close game till the end, just like our first game. The Rockets will be a tough out in the Playoffs. We literally won the game because of our superior 3 point shooting, that will not be there every night. And they will have their share of playing inspired basketball like we just had.
All the more reason to get the first seed and set the warriors and rockets on a collision course. Yeah, the Clippers have had our number but they look awful now and may not even get past the Jazz. Best case scenario we get the 1, the Clips slip to 6 or 7 and thus the Dubs, Rockets and Clips are all on the opposite side of the bracket. That might mean the Jazz or Grizzlies or even Thunder in the semis, but I'd be OK with that.
I'd love this:
1. Spurs
2. Warriors
3. Rockets
4. Jazz
5. Thunder
6. Clippers
7. Grizzlies
8. Nuggets

Is it me or does Rachel Nichols hate the out of Kawhi and/or Spurs? Not one nice word on performance/sequence and then randomly posts this while everyone is talking about Kawhi

She'd assuredly be doing backflips and worshipping WB with constant tweets had he done what Kawhi did tonight. I've been noticing her reluctance to give him any credit for a while.
Expecting her to further discredit Kawhi on The Jump tomorrow.
wow, even though some bench players are arguably better than some starters for SA, that 1.1 is really surprising
is there any site that still does simple unadjusted on court / off court? or is it all this net rating / RPM /per 100 possession crap now?
useless s
Kawhi probably turned that dusty down TBH

Great. There goes any playing time for the next 8 games.
she's alright, just realizes how lucky she is to have the show that could and should have been Cassidy Hubbert's. Therefore she feels forced to tow the company line and the company is pushing the Harden/Westbrook for MVP narrative. That is the NBA ESPN wants.
You can't tell me none of yall cats in here wouldn't give Nichols the D. Just sayin...
