Learn to read mother er. I said I didn't like it because it was predictable and boring, not seeing where style entered into the discussion. The episode did nothing to expand on Walter's character and was a complete throw-away.

Right when I got done watching "fly" my first thought was "This is gonna be the cult-favorite episode for people who get a boner for being different".
Still a great episode, though, tbh, imho, jason witten sans helmet.
I'm a huge fan of the entire series, and have watched it twice so far. I'll add my vote to Fly being one of the worst episodes in my opinion. Although it improved greatly when walter was rambling/almost confessing to jesse.
Considering everything i've read about Vince Gilligan and the OCD control freak he is (he literally debated with himself for an hour over what color Skylar's toenails should be in one scene) i thinks it's an incredible insult to say he would ever write a "throwaway" episode.
Also, Rian Johnson directed the Fly episode which only adds to it's greatness.
I don't care
Not trolling here. What makes it a great episode in your opinion? What am I missing that you're seeing?
The Fly was great.
Hope Flynn finally watches Heat before this season is over because really, who doesn't want to watch Heat.
Finally caught up.
FWIW - I thought Fly was a brilliant episode, but it wasn't necessarily my favorite episode. I can definitely see how people can not be a fan of it. I just found it brilliant how it started as a seemingly pointless episode with them spending half the episode trying to kill a fly, but then the dialogue between Walt and Jesse I thought really ended up being a significant part of the series.
I think the death sequence of Gus was among the best 5 minutes of television I have ever seen. The music selection when he arrived at the nursing home was perfect. You knew what was coming, and it sucked ass because he is one of the most awesome TV characters ever.
Now I want to shoot myself for catching all up and having to wait for the final season.![]()
Do what I, and many fans have done. Rewatch the seasons. You catch so many hidden secrets and foreshadowing throughout the entire series. How Walt and Jesse character, seamlessly, switch. In the second season, Walt gives Jesse for bringing a meth lab to the airport to pick him up. Then in season 4, Jesse goes ballistic on Walt for bringing the car bomb into a hospital. Exact same scenario and reactions. Just great job on the writing staff to help paint the transformation the characters go through in such a short span. TWD could use some of that.
As of this morning, I'm right there with you. Last month or so, I've watched one episode on my ipad while doing cardio every day at the gym. Ever since about midway thru season 2, I've been so ing excited to workout just so I could watch the next episode. A coup,e Saturdays ago I did three straight hours on a treadmill just so I could keep watching.
This is going to be a frustrating few months to have to wait now.
Breaking Bad to return August 11th and NOT in July. And there will now be a 'Talking Bad' ala Talking Dead segment after every episode. If you haven't had enough Chris Hardwick, a lot more now. . . . http://www.rollingstone.com/movies/n...sodes-20130417
I've went ahead and watched it through a second time.
Just a brilliant show. This wait blows...
Surprised they didn't do that last season, don't think they should use hardwick though. I'm all for it if it means AMC keeps their ty reality shows to one night so I don't have to sit through them to get a good preview.
I did the same thing because I had my wife watch it so I could do the same thing. TWO MORE MONTHS!!!
i cant lol cutler or lol orton you anymore

I hope they'll release this past season on Netflix real soon, missed a couple of episodes.
You can always "John Fox" me.
The best part of watching them again by the way was all the little hidden foreshadowing and the colors of each characters clothing. The show is amazing.
lol yep there are lots of subtle things that have a fair amount of significance and creativity.
. now i might have to rewatch to get my fix. Can't ing wait.
The new scene they made just for the season 5 DVD release is pretty sick. It's a good connection to questions on how Jesse grows more estranged to Walt. And the stripper is ing hot.
This is seriously one of the top two series I have ever seen. I just discovered it about a month ago, and have watched all but the last three episodes of season four. Can't wait for season 5 to hit Netflix.
I just saw hit the fan w/ Gus poisoning the cartel, and going to Hector in the nursing home to taunt his ass about killing all of them. ing classic scene. The characters in this show are the .
August 11th.
