Mavs are a little rusty, and probably a little tight remembering what happened in 2006. The Thunder took the 1st game also, and we know how that series ended. I think Carlisle will make the adjustments needed in game 2. Mavs are on a mission, and I think they'll play better in game 2. At least I hope so!

Its choking because even with the Heat's defense playing well, Mavs players missed shots they've been making ALL playoffs. Barea all of a sudden can't even make a ing layup when he's been the second coming of Isaiah Thomas thus far.
Series is no where close to over. People always overreact to one game. If the Mavs win game 2, everyone will say the Heat are done.
Mavs were in a good spot throughout the game and will be in the next game as well. It's not their ideal style, but they can win defensive games. If they keep moving the ball, they will get good looks and even though they didn't shoot a good %, they made enough 3's to have MIA worried.

mmm this is the 5th time in a row Lebron + Wade just flip the switch in the 4th and pretty much bust their load on the opponent. This is pretty much over.

That has been their m.o. all playoff. They are very talented, but their offense struggles. They win with defense and with that comes some stretches of bad offense. When they really focus in however, their talent has been taking over.
How you can call that a choke is beyond me. MIA has a great defense.

Lebron and Wade are NOT blowing a 2-0 lead ...Game 2 is a must win. Series not over but Mavs must be in win at all costs mode. no way they sweeping all 3 at home.
If I was the Mavs, I would be begging Mark Cuban to keep his mouth shut after this loss. There's no telling how pissed Cuban is right now. If I was Dirk and company I would be on my knees begging Cuban to shut the up. Mavs crapped out big time in game. They still have not won a road playoff game. They could have won the game. When they got that 8 point lead, I think they got too comfortable and it fell apart. The 4th quarter was a joke. It was a joke for two reasons. Mavs shot horrible but they weren't helped by Stern's zebras. That missed foul on Lebron when he touched Terry after the 3 was ridiculous but not surprising. Dirk did what he could but it wasn't enough. If the Mavs would have stopped the Heat's spares, they would have won. And yes, you're damn right I'm pissed. I hate the Heat. I despise them the most of any team in pro sports. I hate them more than the Lakers and Yankees. I cannot stand Wade either. If he died, I wouldn't shed a tear. Sorry but when you experience something like what happened in the 2006 Finals, it makes you a very bitter person. You can call me butthurt if you want but being a Mavs fan can be agonizing and painful at times.
This is a choke broham. Mavs have chemistry, more well rounded players and they were supposed to not take from anybody no more after a convincing win against the champs.
Mainstream mono ed out just as planned. Right before the Mavs the bed and he would of had to deal with it here.

The strange thing to me is that while it kind of looked like Dirk struggled when just watching the game, he had a very solid line.
Dallas made enough 3's to make it look like doubling Dirk wasn't working. They moved the ball pretty well. But when you look at the score and the box, you see it was pretty effective.
Co errect. Dallas better bring their A game on Thursday or it will be a Quick series.
