Blazers were making some really bull shots... that's pretty much the take away from this game
Not really. Pop puts in the end of the bench guys when he's given up.

Portland leading by 16 pts with 3:45 remaining and playing like crazy with 3 starters. Plain stupid.
Not the same. Spurs need to keep playing so they stay in a flow. Need game type environment and pressure
had we made couple 3s, this game would be totally different
I predicted he'd do it with 8 minutes left so I was off by 1:20. I need to work on that.
That's exactly what I am thinking and have gone over that scenario myself a few minutes ago, but the difference is that I expect to win the next game, I always expect to win the next game. It seems that you expect to lose before the game has even ended and the next game even begun.
If Danny hits those wide open threes, it is a 9 point game.
If Green hit those back to back 3's, we have a game again. Just not that night I suppose.
Back to back 3s! I can feel a comeback! I believe!
He doesn't have one
Will Barton was making circus shot after circus shot, and Nicolas Batum was draining tightly contested 3's
If they could have hit any of those last few shots it would been ten point lead with four mins left and then exciting but no...
We can win by 50 Wednesday and I'll still be pissed the team didn't give a about getting extra rest to be ready for the WCF against a young, fast, highly athletic team. Tp could've used the extra time off to heal his sprained ankle, too.
If Green hits those 2 wide open 3s it would be single digits
PlayBonner.
Spurs came out disinterested from the start. They didn't fight for lose balls, Tim just one hand cat pawing at a ball instead of grabbing it, people watching it bounce off the rim and onto the floor and not going after it, just all around "we already won" mentality. You either have to think it's intentional or that the Spurs' entire team just couldn't hit anything... if you believe in Jesus I mean.
parker was tonight.. shot 50% but he should've taken more shots in the pick and roll like he did in the other games. could've had 20+ points at half, and we'd win by blowout again more than likely. game was there for the taking.
i hope this isn't a sign of things to come against OKC in the next round. if parker goes pussy dribble mode and expects danny green to make plays, OKC is gonna sweep our ass.
Why do they still have their starters! If the get injured then it's their own fault!
TBH, he expected Manu matched up on an awful defender in Lillard to make plays..
Running alley-oop plays now. Seems like a bag move to me..
It speaks volumes; it probably means Stotts is scared of Spurs making a surging comeback in 2 minutes with 5 consecutive 3's
lol matthews, that when you know this is fluky
