UoP just had their java working for them today and our server was down.
I'm really sorry about the blunder in center. That was probably one of the easiest catches of my life and I blew it like a Billy Wagner save opportunity. What's worse is it crippled a 100% comeback.
Game ball goes to Veronica for telling me just to tell her when to run.
Game bat goes to Chris who was robbed of extra bases.
Game slide goes to Manny who suckered 7 of the 9 defenders into an inside the park homerun.
Game glove goes to Christy who always looks primed for a ball hit her way.
Don't worry everybody, we'll put the fun back in funeral next game as we dominate the comp.
We're better than our record indicates.
That error is still going over my head.
But you forgot to mention that catch Whitney made towards the end of the game. I can't remember if it was part of a play or after the fact, but still it was nice.

I believe what I heard was "don't swing at anything, that ball is all over the place. ALL over the place." Which is pretty much exactly what can be heard from our dugout when we're getting a lot of walks. Unless there was something else?

There was a ton of other stuff. I think LJ, myself and Jess were apparently the only ones that heard it althought the ump may have heard something as well.

That ump was so dopey. I had a hard time not laughing in his face when he called the coaches over. His chest hair was intimidating, though.
I would have been happy if that mother er stood his ground behind the place once in awhile. I know it must be a hard life when you're the Irish Danny DeVito but give me a break. It was a softball not a train.
Kori said that he told her that the pitch that hit the plate hit behind it. Uh, wtf? Thats actually the most pissed off I've ever seen Kori which made me laugh a little on the inside.

Oh and the next time we're out there I'm going to dig up the field to check for the concrete that LJ says is under their ty layer of dirt. Andrew, LJ, and now myself have all ended up with scrapes you get when you fall of a motorcycle, not sliding into home. What the man?

The ump had a bug up his ass the entire game, but that still doesn't give us the right to jump off the deep end. I think we ALL need to work on our self control somewhat...we can't be complaining about every call, nor is it cool to talk trash...we don't want to be like those other teams that were talking non stop trash to us.

That ground is really bad. The time I got shoved, I was cut worse than the force of the push.
Well I didn't hear a lot of talking from that guy, but it had to have happened.
Otherwise, I doubt that LJ would have told him to shutup, followed by the guy's "Come over here and make me." (Is this 3rd grade?)
Anyway, I was very pissed when I struck out. I think I have a really good eye. The pitch for strike 2 definitely hit the plate. The pitcher even knew it because as he was pitching the third strike he was talking a of a lot saying, "Well this was is actually a strike, there it is ump, there it is, it's right down the middle, there it is. You gotta call this a strike" Which consequently led to me not swinging because as it went over the plate, it was above my head.
Anyway, I shouldn't have thrown the bat (which wasn't that hard but caused a chorus of gasps).
But I don't care about all the crap that's been talked in the last 8 games. I don't want a losing season (or even a 5-5 season). Let's STFU and go win these last two games.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
Men's C,D, or E and Coed D or E
Ten week, ten game season.
Begining on August 29, 2006 .
$260 Team deposit required with registration.
Team Formation Meeting -Tues. August 15 at 7:00pm.
Managers Meeting - Thurs. August 17 at 7:00pm.
Call the Park for more information and deadlines.
If there are people interested in playing the next season, we need to figure it out pretty quickly. If Katy doesn't want to run things this time around, I'll go - or anyone who wants to step up - to the meeting and handle the Ancira portion of things.
Whoever wants to run the actual game side of things can do so, but I reccomend LJ do it because he's the one with the most baseball knowledge and no one ever gets upset with him. He's the diplomat of all time.
Kori and I went over the Spurs games and it looks like the only Sunday where there would be a Spurs conflict would be November the 5th although that is unlikely because the Spurs play at noon. We never had any games that early.
I won't be playing.
I would totally be down for the upcoming season.
Who knows? I might even be able to get my team shirt.

I shoulda stayed. I could have hung out with ya Beck. I was afraid to stay though, I went last week and they lost. I figured I was a jinx.
