24/7 reporting the father of QB Casey Thompson will make his own trip to Austin this week to meet with the coaches.
Casey will be back next weekend for the spring game along with all of his 7-on-7 teammates from Houston.
After my Casey Thompson guess and them stating it'd make an in-state impact he was my next to commit. He's always been so pro-Texas and I hardly hear a mention of him and any other school. Just not sure when his commitment timeline was.

I spoke to a few prospects and parents that visited Texas over the last few weeks, and they all said they were very disappointed with the facilities. One parent said A&M’s superior facilities is playing a role in their recruitment.

JT Woods (safety) of Cibolo Steele received an offer from Baylor today and rivals expects him to give Baylor a verbal commitment.
24/7 reporting C Zach Shackelford had successful ankle surgery today.
He is expected to be ready for fall camp in August.
