5. Cris now claims what Tony Parker said wasn't the final straw and that it is other things that lead to Kawhi wanted to leave. I really laughed hard at this point I guess Kawhi's people realize what a Kawhi looks like for being butt hurt by what Parker said.

Did anyone catch them talking during the summer league game about the Lakers reportedly floating that they’d like to trade for Damian Lillard or John Wall to force the Spurs’ hand. I had not seen this reported.

Kawhi knows that if he goes to the Lakers, it will be on a non-Bird FA deal, with fewer years, and lower raises, since LeBron put the young players off limits, basically ing any trade. He also won’t be able to recruit teammates to his new agency. LeBron and Klutch will suck all of the air out of the room. That’s what’s behind the newfound interest in the Clippers. Oh, and while he can refuse a physical before a trade to any team, he cannot refuse one after, and if anything shows up, the trade can be nullified. Other teams are covered.

The bolded part is definitely an Uncle Dennis problem. Kawhi wouldn't care about such things. There seems to be a conflict of interest in that player-agent relationship.

I sat through all of this crap but here's a summary of it:

1. Cris states that Kawhi believes wherever he goes that he has strong recruiting power and could recruit guys to play with him.

2. Cris claims the Spurs control all the endorsements a player does. That they make the final decision on what products a spurs player can endorse and Kawhi doesn't like that.

3. Cris also claims Kawhi is not robotic person and that he's a free thinker.

4. Cris claims Kawhi believes he's better than Lebron,Durant,Curry.

5. Cris now claims what Tony Parker said wasn't the final straw and that it is other things that lead to Kawhi wanted to leave. I really laughed hard at this point I guess Kawhi's people realize what a Kawhi looks like for being butt hurt by what Parker said.

He didn't say Kawhi would do that, just that he could do that based on how much it seems like he wants to be in LA.

Sounds to me like just a starting point, where you hope through negotiation you end up somewhere in the middle. Also, sounds like Lakers are justifying to their fans why Kawhi is still in SA, since earlier Chris Carter was sending a message to Magic to get this deal done and not wait for a PG situation.
