Is that a euphemism?
Yup. We needed a little Condemned debauchery around here. Gotten a little too junior high in here.
BBQ potluck today !
Did you remember to bring the plates?
How you gonna play ball after eating all that ?
I hate people that signed up to bring stuff like plates, soda, and napkins to potlucks. That's not a pot luck jackass! At West they provided that stuff so you either brought your own or you didn't eat. It was perfection. Pot lucks are one of the very few downfalls of working at a small office. We all ate Thanksgiving lunch together, but that was about it.
But those people are usually men. And sometimes it's just easier because they "forget" to bring the food they signed up for. Plus, at my job we always tried to take their wives into consideration because we figured most of them were just going home and saying "Honey, I need a 12lb. ham for tomorrow!"![]()
Okay, what are potlucks?
I see your point. But, still. I saw many a young single female sign up to bring "Coke." How hard is it to run to HEB and grab some pre-made cookies? Preferably the big soft sugar ones.

Bring enough food to feed the masses.
What did the blind guy say walking past the fishmonger?

Maybe they were just thinking "cheap"?
What? Brisket and sausage is the pre-game meal of champions!
I'm thinking "lazy."
Didn't even occur to me; of course that's it![]()
You didn't know the girls I worked with. I think it totaled three of three of the fifteen that weren't complete wastes of space. Me being one, of course.
Thank you.
And congratulations on getting your new house.
When's the first party?
Thank you both as well.
Does that mean that the "Afterschool Special"-type antics of the Crusty Cougar Crew were becoming increasingly lamer as the days passed?
I saw that today! What the ?
Isn't she like 12?
Yeah a size 12.
