    That means Barnes is gone.

I think hes the answer to our backup SF.

best fits are here and in Boston with T. Allen going to Memphis.

Barnes is a "destination" FA...I doubt south Texas really appeals to him. If all he can get is an LLE contract, then I think it's to a nice, sunny place or a big metropolitan city.

South Texas isn't a "nice, sunny" place?

Another thing good about Barnes is that he is still good enough to challenge for the starting SF spot. One of the problems last year with RJ was that he was the Spurs only legit SF so there was no risk of him to lose his starting spot.

If the Spurs somehow signed Barnes, it would create some healthy compe ion between the 2 players, keeping their game at a high level IMO

I always thought he was too expensive also, but after seeing that he has struggled to get contracts in the pass and only made 1.6 mil last season. He might take a guaranteed 2 year deal worth the LLE which comes just shy of a total of 4 mil. I am sure he is going to get that offer from multiple teams though so he would have to want to play here.

Just heard from Udonis Haslem. He has turned down far larger deals from the Nuggets and Mavericks . . . and will be back with the Heat!

Nets and Warriors are finalizing sign-and-trade for Anthony Morrow that will return a $4 million trade exception to GState, sources tell Y!

    WojYahooNBA

Morrow agreed to a three-year, $12 million offer sheet with New Jersey on Saturday. Now, the restricted free agent is on his way to Nets.

    STEIN_LINE_HQ

I've been advised to expect Reggie Evans to be included in widely reported three-way deal (TOR, CHA and PHX) and land with Bobcats

Apparently the Raptors will also receive Jones, then ship him to the Bobcats for Diaw.
Probably going to turn out like this. Raptors will not use TPE. I also don't details on how they will deal with both Jose and Hedo's Trade Kickers.

    Boris Diaw

    Outgoing Players

From what I understand, he is taking about 1/2 of what Mavs/Nuggest offered. Is anyone su ious about this? What is to keep LeBron/Wade/Bosh from working some kind of personal deal with Haslem? Not a direct payment but kind of soft money deal in the future?

    Nets land Morrow in sign-and-trade
    By Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo! Sports
    1 hour, 1 minute ago

Email Print The Golden State Warriors have agreed to a sign-and-trade to send Anthony Morrow(notes) to the New Jersey Nets for a $4 million trade exception, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Morrow agreed to a three-year, $12 million offer sheet on Saturday with New Jersey, but had yet to sign it. The Nets parted with the exception because they wanted Morrow too badly to risk the Warriors matching the sheet and keeping him.

Morrow, a 6-foot-5 guard, was undrafted out of Georgia Tech two years ago and averaged 13 points for Golden State last season.

This is the same website who posted a Tiago interview before free agency start.
    http://balanacesta.blogspot.com/2010...a-parte-1.html

Today they reported Tiago signed a 3 year deal, but no info on the money yet

Conforme dito aqui, sem surpresas Tiago Splitter fechou com os Spurs por três temporadas (todas garantidas). Depois de passar a lua de mel no México, o brasileiro desembarcou no sábado em San Antonio para realizar exames médicos.

Big pickup for the Jazz. He's not the long, athletic shot blocker they still need inside, but he'll replace Boozer's scoring and rebounding. He's not as good a face-up shooter or as good in the pick-and-roll as Boozer, but he's a better back-to-the-basket scorer.

I know he had major knee surgery and inevitably struggled (at least by his standards) last season, but he's likely to bounce back next season and if he does, this is a steal. He's 25, a bonafide 20/10 guy when he's right and is signed for 3 years/$42 million. With the money being thrown around this summer, if he's fully back to where he was two seasons ago next season, that's a bargain.

Millsap is likely to be frustrated, though. It's one thing to back up Boozer, who was already on the team, but it's another thing to acquire his replacement. Probably feels like he's played the good soldier role long enough and is deserving of starting.
