Pretty damn entertaining Raw this past Monday..
+ Brock Lesnar
+ Brock Lesnar on the mic
+ New blood in the Divas Division
+ More focus on wrestling
+ ING EPIC triple threat, Cesaro is "grabbing the brass ring"
- Still opening Raw w/ drawn out promos
- Where is Sasha Banks le?
- Stephanie McMahon trying to take credit for the pending Divas division improvement
- Another sorry ass opening match
- Any story line development time given to Big Show and/or The Miz
- Over use of the "contract signing" in the main event time bracket
Divas are gonna bottle neck, introducing three at once to a division that's 9 deep with only one le is gonna be pretty meh later on
Cesaro has alot, but he needs better music, maybe a mic guy he was over as with the real americans.
lol LWO, especially the 2nd fella left to right top....does that dance in ring when he should be pinning the clown...
Yeah, his music is terrible, they downgraded the bomb siren for some goty alarmThat's WWE for you.. and yeah, the Paul Heyman thing could have been something, but they derailed the plan because of Brock's return.. They need to build up Cesaro as a top face, he may be one of the few that is capable of tossing Brock around. That would be a of a WM match this coming year if they built it right.
Are you kidding me?
A Reigns vs Wyatt feud, sheesh~~~~~~~~~~~~~
They blew it w/ Reigns.. can't see how he gets built up again unless he learns some technical wrestling and earns the respect of the fans.. he needs to go heel because people already don't like his ass.
Damn, Cena finds one cutesy move, and overdoes the out of it.. Stone Cold is gonna be pissed now you got Owens brushing off the Springboard Stunner like it's nothing![]()
@ 46 year old done it all Cena continuing to dominate
Golden Jew
rip axelmania you will never be forgotten, both him and sandow now = ed more than they were before as mid-carders
They should swap Axel's gimmick for a racist redneck one, like his dad in WCW
The WWE won't go near another schtick like that much less anything that's borderline sensitive.
Can't teach an old dog new tricks. Reigns cannot wrestle, nor can he be a mic guy. He's the most boring pushed wrestler I have ever seen. The WWE "universe" sees right thru the bull and will continue to boo the out of him for the forseeable future. I don't think any storyline gets Reigns as a full on face with the appropriate crowd response. Also, if Wyatt didn't win his match at Battleground. He had lost how many ppv single's matches in a row going in? They ruined it with Wyatt, he was promising. Now he's just a guy who goes after random wrestlers for whatever reason. A face of fear should be someone who does something fearful? I mean what has he done that makes somebody take fear in him? Whoever the is doing creative needs to get the out. This product will not last another ty September-October-November cycle.
I've seen threads at the Wrestling forum complain about the continued use of Kane and the Big Show in the spotlight and it's actually quite funny. They rely on these past their prime full timers to carry feuds with up and coming talent mainly because the character and in-ring wrestling development of these so called up and coming superstars is not there. It's boring as . Honestly it's more of a chore to sit through a Raw so much as it pretends to be entertainment. Even with Lesnar's more frequent Raw bookings, nothing can save Raw from being a 3-hour show. Don't even get me started on Smackdown, I'd rather watch infomercials than that .
I like Roman Reigns, he'd be my champion.
Yeah, Wyatt is ed too.. at least they are going back to what worked by reunited the family.
Yeah, its ing terrible.. too bad Daniel Bryan can't swap his injury tendency w/ Kane and Big Show tbh
Yes, because you frequently talk about how wrestlers who have talent are "flying around like gots" or whatever the you say, and prefer to watch wrestlers who could perform at 75 years old and 400 lbs with the move set and style they use.
I can see in a few months (maybe less than a year), Reigns holding onto the belt. If that catapults him into s om then great. However that in itself is a bad omen. Legit wrestling stars/characters got their marks without having to have a le. As it is the WWE Championship belt is being tarnished every second that it's on Rollins shoulders. The WWE has done the coward heel schtick so much that it's stale and very degrading of whatever belt the user holds. In this case Rollins has had at least four individuals surround him while having the backing of the Authority. How ing stupid is that? The Authority angle is much like the NWO angle in that its grown stale without any forseeable promise as to character development. Its basically a fodder angle that's been played since Wrestlemania 30.
crofl they ed up by breaking up the family in the first place. It was such a ty and forgettable reason that I don't remember why they broke them up. Creative had gold in that stable. It's rare that a weird and (for lack of better words here) spooky group comes along and captivates the crowd. At the end of the day that's the most important thing from a charismatic and crowd registration stand point. The crowd now sees Bray Wyatt as a repe ive wrestler with decent in-ring ability. He could've easily been a greater character with the crowd. that entire group would have been amazing had they done some bizarre to perpetuate their weirdness. Creative did nothing of that nature to note. Nowadays, even with the 8-14 yr old crowd who still tunes into this show, has to be done to advance character/group development.
Bryan is the most over face right now still earning a check from WWE. I didn't like him at first but eventually his wrestling grew onto me. Can't do much with a wrestler this injury prone.Yeah, its ing terrible.. too bad Daniel Bryan can't swap his injury tendency w/ Kane and Big Show tbh
Remember the days that Raw had 5-6 amazing segments, sometimes 4 on a bad night? where did that go?
Yeah, it's once a month usually for a decent Raw.. Lately Cesaro has put Raw on his back IMO, the longer matches have made Raw much better.
I'd say that Reigns is already a star. Didn't he headline Wrestlemania?
Look at Lesnar he needs Heyman to talk for him. Both Cena and Orton while greats/icons are wore out. That leaves Rollins and Reigns. Ok Rollins had his time why not Reigns?
I don't see any reason at all to not give him a shot at it. He has a few unique moves has the look and he doesn;t need a mouth piece.
