Is that based on anything?
Not sure is Hamiltons prediction is based on something, just saw it at their Crystal Ball.
EDIT: Apparently someone in his family wants him at Texas. I'm not sure, but it could look like it's his dad.
According to an insider over at OrangeBloods, two commits are in and should be announced soon. Sounds like the Teuhema brothers.
Here's another name to keep in mind. Per 24/7, Giles was in Columbus recently to see OL/DL Mason Denley and came across RB Royce Caldwell. He's an unknown at this point because he missed his junior season with an ACL tear. Giles told the Columbus coaching staff that if he can run a 4.4 or better at the Texas camp this summer, he'll probably be offered. Reminds you a lot of DJ Monroe.

Update on 2015 RB Jay Bradford of Splendora (24/7):
“It feels amazing because I never thought that as a sop re I'd be able to do this,” Bradford said. “I don't know how much better I can get. My goal has just been to work hard and keep improving every week and I've given it my all so far.”
“There's been a few [schools to show interest] but it hasn't been too crazy,” Bradford said. “That hasn't been my focus. My focus has been on track so we'll see what happens.”
“It went great (the unofficial visit to Texas),” Bradford said. “They showed me around the campus a little bit and gave me a tour of the weight room and the player's lounge. Everything was really nice.”
“Amazing,” Bradford said. “There was so much to see but the coaches were great and walked us through everything. I felt like I could see myself getting real comfortable there.”
“My dad is a big [Texas] A&M fan so I've been messing with him a little bit,” Bradford said. “I was trying to see if I could make him mad, but it was all in fun.”
Some nice quotes from QB Jerrod Heard (24/7):
“I tell everyone they need to follow their hearts,” Heard said. “I talked to Demetrius and his heart just wasn't with Texas. That's fine because it's his decision, but my heart is with Texas.”
“I'm looking forward to competing here a lot in the future,” Heard said. “[I'm] looking forward to winning a lot while I'm here.”
“I'm not shy about telling everyone I'm committed to Texas,” Heard said. “I'm 100-percent for Texas, and if guys see that I'm 100-percent then that might help him see that Texas is a good place for them. It's all about being 100-percent at all times.”
“It's a great relationship,” Heard said. “I call [Applewhite] whenever I can and I know he'll be there. He and I had had a good relationship even when Coach Harsin was recruiting me, and it's only gotten better since he took over.”
“From what I saw during practice and at the spring game, I think it's (the offense) going to be exciting,” Heard said. “It's going to score a lot more points, and that's what you need to do to win in the Big 12.”
“Yes sir (I want more rings),” Heard said. “Hopefully a couple while I'm here.”
Hopefully he's not talking about Mack's Alamo Bowl rings.
The younger brother is one of the top players in the state right?
Top OL in the 2015 class.
Per OrangeBloods, Texas has offered DE Davon Godchaux of Plaquemine, LA. If you read any materail on the Rivals camp in Houston a while back, you may recognize the name.

DE Derick Roberson gives the latest (24/7):
“I keep in contact with them (other schools) some,” Roberson said. “They've all come by to watch me practice.”
“I'm committed to Texas, but I'm kind of keeping my options open,” Roberson said. “I don't see anything that can change my mind, but I'm going to keep my options open a little bit.”
“People, and some reporters, they take the Twitter stuff too serious,” Roberson said. “When I said that I was mad. I was just talking about getting out of Texas for the summer. Texas, for me, is home. I just want to spend some time in Las Vegas [where he last lived prior to moving to San Antonio] this summer.”
“He's (Trey Lealaimatafao) relentless and I want a guy like that next to me,” Roberson said. “I know if I'm not going to make the tackle then he'll make it.”
“They're expecting me to come in and start right away,” Roberson said. “That's pretty good. They've got guys who will do a good job taking Alex Okafor's place, but I know they're going to need to roll some new [defensive ends] through there soon.”
“The coaches have told me that I have to stay at home and hawk it down from the back side,” Roberson said. “I see a lot more cutback runs in practice than I used to. I'm really learning how to play the run this spring.”
“Things are good,” Roberson said. “They're my No. 1 school like always."
More from 2015 OL Patrick Vahe of Euless Trinity (24/7). Turns out he's a cousin of the Teuhema brothers:
“When they told me Texas offered I thought it was a joke,” Vahe said. “I thought the coaches were trying to be funny and I wasn’t laughing."
"But when I knew they were serious, I knew I had to start really preparing, because Texas isn’t a joke. They are all about business so I knew right then I had to start preparing both mentally and physically for my future. I wasn’t expecting it at all. I definitely wasn’t expecting any offer, much less from one of the best like Texas, this early.”
“I like Texas a lot,” he said. “That’s the program I grew up with. I watched all their games and always rooted for them, so them being interested in me is a big deal. Them offering me and me having a chance to play for them is an even bigger deal, but I have to remain humble and not let my head get too big. They are definitely my favorite school. But I need to focus on finishing here at Trinity first, then worrying about playing for Texas.”
“Texas is a great school with a great program,” he said. “I’ve heard nothing but good things about it. They have the best of the best. The campus is really nice from what I’ve seen and the coaches are amazing there. That’s what makes them great. They also have amazing academics. I look forward to learning more about them in the future.”
“I’m going to visit there next month,” Vahe said. “They invited me for a camp, so I’m planning on going down there for that. I think I’ll be going to the first one they have next month on June 2. It will be my first time to be there for football, so I’m really looking forward to it all.”
Per 24/7, Texas has offered 2015 RB Jordan Stevenson of Dallas Skyline. He's a bad dude.

Quotes from 2015 RB Jordan Stevenson of Dallas Skyline (24/7):
“From what I understand they offered me over the weekend,” Stevenson said. “But my coach just now let me know and they got all the details. Coach (Bruce) Chambers called my coaches to let them know that Texas really likes me and wants me to come there, so they ended up offering me."
“Coach Chambers told them that they could really use a quick guy like me, especially in their new offense,” Stevenson added. “He says that they want me bad.”
“Before I was really high on Oregon, USC and LSU,” he said. “Don’t get me wrong, I still like those schools, especially Oregon, but I’ve realized that all schools have many great things to offer. I’ve thought about it a lot lately and I know that Texas is just as good, if not better, than any other school out there. They have a lot to offer anyone who loves to play football, so when they do end up offering you, you would be dumb to not seriously look at them. That’s what I’m doing. I like them a lot and it’s a place I could see myself playing.”
“I went down there (to Austin) and it made a strong impression on me you could say,” Stevenson said. “I got to truly see what Texas was made of and how they operated and I have to say I liked it. The coaches there are great people, the facilities are some of the best in the country and the campus is very nice. At first, I didn’t know much about Texas, but after visiting that all changed for me. It opened my eyes to them.”
“Coach Chambers invited me down to their camp this summer,” he said. “I’ll be going to their one they have on June 9. When I called him he said they would love to have me down, so I’m looking forward to getting back down there and finding out more. Plus I’m ready to show them what I’m made of in the camp. I know they already like it, but I want to show them even more.”
“I’m just so blessed to be getting all this attention,” he said. “I want to get a good feel for everything and then go from there. There are a few main programs I really want to check out for myself and see more about. It’s so early for me. I have two seasons of high school ball left, so I’m in no rush at all. I’m just playing it by ear.”
According to OrangeBloods, QB Jerrod Heard has received an invite to the second annual Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge happening this summer.
Herbstreit wonders if Texas is "tired of being made fun of"...

Encouraging quote from S Arrion Springs after his unofficial visit to Texas (OrangeBloods):
"It was a great meeting with coach Akina," Springs said. "It moved Texas up a bunch on my list. I would place them at number two right behind Oregon right now. It was nice to meet with him over the weekend because it was just me and him. My mom and stuff weren't around so we just got to talk football. He wants me to be a corner, obviously, but what I liked is how he thinks I can play inside (slot) in the nickel so I never come off the field."
Quotes from DE Davon Godchaux of Plaquemine, LA on his Texas offer (OrangeBloods):
"It happened a couple days ago. Coach (Oscar) Giles came by the school last week," Godchaux said. "He basically said he wants me to come to Texas, wants me to take a visit, see how I like it. He said he likes my game, likes my film."
"I'm going to go up there to take a visit, probably in June," Godchaux said. "I want to see how beautiful the facilities are, things like that. I've heard they are nice."
"I'm still wide open," he said. "I'm pretty open to everybody right now."
"I know the Big 12 Conference, they pass a lot. Coach Giles said you have to bring it every play. And it's great tradition of Texas football," Godchaux said.
This is encouraging for UT, not so much for Miami. Didn't he at one time say that it was Oregon or The U, with no one having a chance barring major sanctions? I wonder if he will wait until the NCAA meeting in July. Would be a great get after looking like there was no chance there. I like this kid.
Medical School Plans May Appear to Include DKR Expansion:

I think Akina is doing great with this guy. He had both Oregon and Miami ahead of Texas before he visited Austin this past weekend. Sounds like Miami is currently running third.
OrangeBloods reporting that Applewhite is in Manvel today to check on OL/DL Koda Martin. He's still looking to decide in about a month or so. Most think A&M has the lead.
