The Spurs MUST take advantage of the next 4 games. They play @Phoenix, vs. Phoenix, vs. Sacramento, vs. Detroit. Because after those four, it gets a little tougher with Chicago, Portland, and OKC coming to SA....

With us playing in OT tonight, I expect Pop to be CIA Pop on Sunday by benching one or more of the Big 3 and maybe Kawhi. And the Suns played us tough last time as well as the Kings. I'd love to beat some Pistons ass, though and get some payback for that fluke of a loss.

I don't see why he would rest them. After Sunday, they don't play again until Wednesday. Might as well play the Big 3 in Sunday's game....

The two Phoenix games are gonna be interesting because Scola and Dragic (noted Spur killers) are on the squad.

I'm not too bummed about Chicago and Portland - the former is good but the timetable on Rose is still up in the air, while the latter blows on the road.

Fwiw, the Spurs were in a position to putt he game away in the 4th but the bench shat the bed. Players also missed a lot of shots they normally make tonight that Parker got them. I'm not gonna put much worry into it at this point.

To avoid injury against a scrub team. Tiago got dinged up tonight and we didn't get a win out of it. Pop might choose to play it safe and rest Tiago for sure while sitting out one or some of the Big 3 with him.

The team was up by 13 then Pop put the bench in so that they could get back to their ability to play well and close strong. Unfortunately, Jarrett Jack was the best bench player in the game.

And Tony had 25 and 8 in the home game against GS - no Curry, but Thompson was still guarding him.

And that's why we have Manu and Duncan to carry the load when Parker is struggling.

I liked Green's progress this season. Sure he's still super streaky but at least he can do stuff off the dribble.

And his fellow UNC alum Barnes will be clowning him for sure

It's just a regular season game and the Spurs definitely have played much better this season than they did tonight, but this game is an indicator of what worries me in a potential playoff series with the Heat and Thunder.

When Parker is taken out of the game by having guys like LeBron/Wade/Thabo guard him, it seems to affect the rest of the team. It just worries me that it might happen again just like last year's WCF. Thankfully, our defense is more improved from last year and some of our players. But I kinda had bad flashbacks with this game.

Spurfan melting down and losing faith after an OT loss to a team on a b2b par per etc...

It will be back to "contenders!" after the next win.

Warriors were playing like a loss would mean the death of a loved one.

Spurs had a bullseye on their backs going into this one and some players were even treating it like a personal challenge of their existence.

It's like the Spurs burned their houses down and stole their girlfriends prior to the game.

Next game we play them, they'll get blown the out, tbh. And next time we play them at Oakland will be the 2nd to last game of the season and coming off a back to back so Pop will rest some guys for that one and the Warriors can then act like they're in the Finals again, lol.
