Gobbert might have had (barely) more value on a team without a center. Not on a team that has KAT. As bad as this makes the Spurs' trade seem, it's an even more devastating look on the Wolves. What the are they thinking?

Difference is, DANNY AINGE RUNS UTAH....
Rudy is a 3x DPOY, multiple time All Star who's locked up for 2 more years than DJ (though at a pretty hefty price). He was always gonna have more value than Murray.
That said, it's definitely a huge overpay by Minnesota and I also think the Spurs could have probably gotten another pick swap from ATL in hindsight
if mutombo or dennis gets in then of course.
I figured Poeltl is going to go for probably just a protected 1st rounder. Not to many teams will be interested in a center you can't even play at the end of games cause of his free throw shooting AND who is looking for a big pay day
