What's the most comical about this series is Dallas is obviously so much the better team, it's ridiculous. Miami has one ing player, for crying out loud. The series is 3-2 thanks to too much partying my the Mavs players in Miami for Games 3 and 4, and just some boneheaded decisions by their coach and role players.

For the Mavericks tonight, this was a microcosm of the frustration that Spurs fans felt in Games 3 & 4 of the WCSF. I'm loving that I'm hearing about unfair free throw disparities and bogus calls. There is such a delicious irony to it.

The bad call at the end of the game that sent Wade to the FT line to win the game is just karma making up for the two no calls against Ginobili and Duncan on the final play of regulation in Game 7.

I keep telling people, I DON'T LIKE HIM AS A PLAYER. He's got a lot of talent, but he has ZERO basketball sense. He makes a lot of stupid plays on the court all the time, and commits more touch fouls than any "good" NBA player. Plus, his shot and his shot selection are both seriously questionable. And if he doesn't have a good first quarter, he's a ghost the rest of the game.

I kind of get the feeling that Spurs fans would be perfectly fine with winning a championship if they were the ones benefitting from bull calls to a degree that the games appeared staged.

Yes - you were screwed in the conference semifinals series. Not by the Mavs; by the NBA. Dallas is currently being screwed in the Finals. Not by the Heat; by the NBA. "An eye for an eye" is a juvenile and shortsighted philosophy - and even more so when the ing general principle at the root of the Spurs getting ed this year, the smallball rules enforced by the league office, ain't going away anytime soon.

The current state of NBA refereeing is unjust. Be a bigger man and recognize and oppose the injustice regardless of whether your personal sense of schadenfreude agrees with it or not.
