here's some breaking news... THE XBOX 360 SUCKS BALLS! so many friends have had to get repairs it's not funny. had a buddy work for xbox tech support and you wouldn't believe all the trouble people have with that piece of . i'll stick with sony.

You sound like such a fanboy, I can't afford a PS3 so when it goes down in price I plan on getting it. But even if I could it's not worth having it just to sit there and to use as an occasional Bluray player. The library for PS3 is what sucks balls right now and with the new chip to improve the Xbox hopefully. I agree it sucks having had so many problems, mine included but I'll take the risk of problems and all the great games like Bioshock and just wait till Metal Gear comes out. Especially since Sony ed up and lost the rights to have Kane & Lynch, Assassins Creed, and Army of Two be PS3 only

FIFA 08 looking pretty damn good. The new "Be a Pro" mode 'seems' a lot like the "Superstar" mode in Madden. I really like the camera angle they have for this mode. Also, I think the speed burst reminds me of the speed burst in Gears of War.

Damn...BioShock is creeping the outta me...just stopped after a 2 hour session.

I do agree that the hardware faults is Microsoft's big up regarding 360. If they had eliminated that, there is honestly no reason to date why anyone would buy a PS3 besides for using it as a Blu-Ray player. Sony took the PSX and PS2 success for granted.

dude, whatever. that piece of gets the three flashing red lights after owning it only 3 or 4 months. often, you have to send it in MULTIPLE times to get fixed. a buddy sent his in like 3 or 4 times in one year. i have never seen a product released with such wide scale ing problems like good ol' microsoft. i tell ya, they know exactly what they are doing. get back to me next time you hear of a massive number of playstations having hardware failures over and over and over again. whatever your game of choice is right now, i wouldn't get too comfty with it cause chances are your console will be serviced for a month or more soon. good luck with all that. i think i will stick with what's reliable.

as a sidenote, i actually play the 360 regularly at a friends house and do enjoy some things about it. i just wouldn't invest in one just to get set up for dissapointment.

I agree with the fact that Microsoft fd up big time by trying to save money and rush the product, which is why they're releasing the Xbox with the new chips. But, right now it along with the Wii are the best gaming systems out. Now by next year it might be a different story with Heavenly Sword, Drake's Fortune, Metal Gear, etc. coming out. But, right now system vs. system the xbox is the way to go especially with games like Mass Effect, Halo 3 and Bioshock all in the next month

PS3 is more powerful but the developers don't have the tools to max it out yet and are still working on figuring it out. Which is why Madden runs way better on xbox than ps3

I guess you're overlooking the high failure rate when the PS2 was released, eh? Took Sony awhile to get it fixed too, if I remember right. And back then, you had to pay to get that fixed.

er... the 360 came out in november 05 and it's still ing up. even the newer ones and it's almost 08 now. and i don't recall that issue affecting so many units as the 360 (and yes, i owned an original playstation2 and NEVER had ANY issues) sorta weird how that works out, ay?

and dirk, bioshock is actually pretty awesome. i likes it.

Bioshock is the best looking game I've ever seen.

Check out Call of Juarez, Oblivion, etc.

I'm already tired of bioshock and I only beat it once and started again 1/4 of the game.

Once I get my fill of Crysis I'll probably sell off PC and get console. Then I'll finally have games to play

Rumor has it that Tiger Woods is excessively sensitve with the swing stick. People are hating it.

I have an opinion and a few reviews on Madden within the last two pages. Its not worth it for the 360 in my opinion, I would skip it. I've never in my life been so disappointed in a game.

If you're like me and can't live without a football fix just get the old xbox version or the ps2 version because those two games are up to snuff in all the areas the 360 and ps3 versions fall short.

EA has really let me down lately but what do you expect with exclusive license's and zero compe ion. I hope to god that thay take this player engine and the 08 graphics and put it on a playable platform with a functional franchise mode.

I have had a 360 since 4 months after its launch (every console has problems these days), and it locked up once in all my time.

The reason Sony hasnt had any problems on a widescale is because nobody bought the system widescale. Theyre all playing Resistance: Fall of Man still and cant be bothered to care about anything else.

Ok, ok...that was baiting. I dont give a who wins console wars. I just want good games, and lots of them.

Soooo, I can buy a PS3 and have....1 good game.

Or, I can buy a 360 and have..... , 25 great games?! Total guess there.

Then when that decison is made, I will definately buy a Wii. Because everyone young and old digs that system.

Me personally? I will always like the PC better than any console. Until a console is capable of 3 things:

1) Mods
2) Console (usually the tilde key "~")
3) Patches

...they will always be inferior, IMO.

My new system kicks ing ass!!!

Had to download the new nvidia drivers (why the manufacturer loaded old drivers is beyond me) since the graphic cards kept crashing and timing out (which, btw, Vista handled better than I could ahve expected).

After that small task was complete, I was running BioShock with every single bell and whistle the game allows (without touching the .config) at 60+ FPS.
