Collin calling Pop a bully![]()
Agreed. They would be effectively neutered if Kawhi ends up signing with SA. Maybe, if it’s for the SuperMax they can claim a win and that it was all part of tough negotiations for a large deal, but anything less than SuperMax would be the end of their nba venture.
That was before Kawhi had truly ascended and before their new venture took hold.
My girl says I'm an emotionalless guy, she doesn't know a ...I'm on a roller coaster of emotions and mixed feelings since June.
It’s just the Uncle. The agent has made it worse so there is a problem there but family wise? It’s only the Uncle. SA has welcomed and embraced and taken care of Kawhi’s mom. His sister has been a big part of the Kawhi/SA pairing. Its only Dennis the Menace.
Wouldn't a LaVar Ball / Dennis Robertson 'Celebrity Death Match' be pretty ing great? Let those 2 clown shoes beat each other up for our enjoyment.
They could each be armed with a chancla.
Cowherd on his show
I'd pay good money to see that![]()
As many people have said on the board, the Pop is a "bully", "slave master", "holding him hostage" narrative is the last card that the group can play. It's no surprise that re s like Cowherd are starting to spout that bull , then it'll be Sreamin A, then it'll be a toned down version from Windhorst, Lowe, other ESPN talking heads tbh....
I'm actually pretty surprised that Pop and RC haven't caved yet but as soon as that becomes a "normal" narrative/question to debate, then it's over and he'll be traded for peanuts to the Lakers or Clippers.
He'll be a good replacement for Kiwi![]()
Like McGee is a good replacement for Randle![]()
Yes, you got the joke. Here's a cookie.
Probably already posted, but you know...
Kawhi wants out because he's a "free thinker"
New spin is Kawhi's bad endorsements are PATFO.
Saying just ignoring training camp or a physical if traded somewhere you don't wish to go is a reasonable option for KL. Good lord.
Amazing, to watch them pile them on.

The good thing is that I think along with the "slave master" narrative the group will propagate soon, you'll also hear them soften their stance on "Lakers" only. The Jabari stuff about Philly, Shams/Carter talking about Philly, etc...
Maybe one of the East teams bites and believes him and the Spurs still get a reasonable return.
I think there's definitely some truth to the reservations about the Lakers/LeBron. LeBron will get all of the credit for their success and none of the blame and whatever brand ceiling they think he has will be stunted playing next to James. It also doesn't hurt that the Lakers probably made the worst FA signings possible after signing Bron and have pretty much indirectly told Kawhi that we don't think you are good enough to trade a ing re like Brandon Ingram for you![]()
Ideally a sign and trade would workout best for both. Why lose more money?
At this point they don't care. 25 years of history says otherwise anyways. Pop doesn't strike me as an individual who gives a what other people say, especially now.
And so it has been written, and so it shall be...
The hardball phase likely has begun.
Kawhi needs to freaking speak up and tell the Spurs there are a few teams he will sign with. If he does that, it should get the Spurs something good.
Have to hope LA is pissing Kawhi enough to where he expands his list of teams and guys like Woj/Shams report that he has expanded his list.
Where would he hear that? That's not a narrative he will hear from his group.
I gues it's unreasonable from Kawhi's perspective.
His uncle is his father figure, he was close to him and his mom after his dad died, he helped Kawhi when Kawhi was a nobody...It's not that hard to understand that Kawhi feels he owes his uncle.
Doesn't matter what some fans think here, Kawhi's not stupid. It's likely he already knows he's paying a high price for keeping his uncle on his group, at the same time he could think that most people will forget about this weird episode of his career if he has a great season again on some East/West team.
