Sherlock Holmes Smarter Brother.
1975. Gene Wilder, Madeline Kahn and Marty Feldman. Silly to the max, quirky out the Queequeg and quasi-musical in execution, with a high laugh out loud quotient for this reviewer.
3.5 stars out of five.
Sanctum 5/10
I watched this movie thinking they were going to find something crazy down in the caves. There wasn't down there except for more caves. This movie would be great if you were into cave exploring/diving/rock climbing. If not, don't waste your time.

You watched Splice?
Bad Lt. Not bad but Cage's character reminded me of Leaving Las Vegas.
I sure did.
I also rated it.
A couple of people mentioned Gattaca so I checked it out on Starz yesterday. It was really good. I remember when it came out but I've never had a chance to see it. Hawke and Law were solid and had great chemistry. They should have done more movies together.
8.5/10
changeling. Clint Eastwood is one bad mother er
Red
1/10
Wish I could give it lower, worst movie I have seen in a really long time.
I just finished Red an hour ago. It ain't THAT bad - 6/10 .
Had its moments, but unoriginal and really didn't go anywhere plot-wise.
Yeah, I couldn't have said it any better.
Watching those two squishy creatures stab each other to death before exploding was the highlight of the movie.

Billy bob thornton's hair piece and acting were equally terrible.
"some like it hot"

"Nowhere Boy" 6 out of 10
"Due Date" - 8. Pretty funny.. planes trains and automobiles the remake pretty much, though.
The Other Guys
8/10
Funny .
The Fountain 7/10
Weird movie. Visuals are pretty cool.
The town
7/10
Good flick, ugly chick
The Thing 9/10
SlapShot 9/10
Caught these on HDNet over the weekend. Slight bias as these are two of my favorites.
That movie is a 10/10. Flawless imo
I almost recorded the The Thing the other night. I can't figure out why I didn't. That movie sets the standard for classic horror.
The chest/stomach mouth gets me every time. And that dog might have given the best performance in the entire flick. Creepy as .
Great flick.
Theaters: Blue Valentine 7.5/10...I thought it was a good movie, but it was missing something. It was really depressing and it actually sparked a little disagreement between me and my better half. I was blaming Mic e Williams (Cindy) character for the decay and she blamed Ryan Gosling (Dean). Though, it did kind of illustrate the best ending for what really goes on in relationships that don't last.
T.V. Blue-Ray: Wyatt Earp 6/10...not nearly as quotable as Tombstone (8/10), but more historically accurate and it was in the middle of Kevin Costner's quasi-dominance of movies (Field of Dreams, Dances, and the like...). It was also drawn out and really lacked the pow factor of a worthy Doc Holiday.
