random story, when I was 13 I had a dream that I sucked Grady Sizemore's and liked it. The Cleveland Indians slugger at the time.
Sizemore should have had a better career but he went wheels off.

True, but he was this||close to dying and salvaged himself, SfS. Take a look at his IMDB page. He currently has 35 pictures in (announced) (pre production) (filming) (post production) & (completed) status in 2022 alone! Every time I see Sizemore trudging across that LA street in that gray suit -Heat- I think of what we could have lost. Bless-his-heart for coming back to us.
Another actor who salvaged himself is even more amazing...Eric Roberts. His IMDB page is insane. He met the right woman, S. She became his manager and his wife under but 1 condition...He had a choice...either her, or, the drugs. He could not have both. He's never looked back.
They're both still here, thank Christ.
Just in time to get back to 100 degree weather. Some cold front, had below average temperatures on Tuesday and that was it.
I didn't really think the break-even on solar was worth it. But a few months of this ing heat and CPS raising their rates may have me question that.
Nice that we got the expense of weatherizing the grid without actually weatherizing it.
So hottest May ever recorded in San Antonio followed by hottest June ever recorded in San Antonio. Gee I wonder how our ing July is going to be? Typical summer here has 18 days over 100 and we had 17 this month.
“A book about metals”
this summer. More rape on the electric bill.
lol... Idgaf the AC is staying on 68F. If the grid dies, it dies.
Wouldn't it just be cheaper to buy a private island in Canada and live there until October?
Funny thing is my May/June bill is only $31 more than last year. I guess the new ac's really will pay for themselves eventually.
That got me curious, so I looked online at my usage. We actually used 4.74 kWh less this past month than last year. Bosch 20 SEER ac's .
Faroe Islands mid April to mid October and Falkland Islands mid October to mid April
as long as you can get good wifi, that's the life.
Drove back to last night. Waco on I-35 southbound was impassable even at night and it cost me 2 hours in ridiculous agitating bumper to bumper traffic. It didn't get under 90 degrees until well past midnight last night when I was around roughly Round Rock, northern Austin. It's over 100 right now just west of SA. # me
And for me as well. 68º all spring/summer/fall long, a CPS bill tbh I only live once and don't do heat.
I just jump in the pool about 5:00 or 6:00 every day. Can't get my house down to 68 when it's 100+ especially if I'm cooking that day.
Just sit on a 12-incher and shut up!
Sorry cubby, I ain't Magic Johnson.
ing , 105 yesterday, 105 today, 105 tomorrow, 105 Tuesday, 103 Wednesday. We're going to obliterate our record of 59 days over 100 in 2009.
And we're not even in the hot part of the year yet. Wouldn't surprise me if in early to mid August if we're seeing prolonged stretches of 108-110.
Wow 106 in town right now at 2:30 with 3 to 3 1/2 hours left to still heat up more.
Had a power interruption and thought a transformer had blown. Actually had a cloudburst up here. Sat in the garage for half an hour with the door open like I had never seen rain before. Glorious 20 degree temperature drop.
