Wemby is just incredible. The dude’s IQ is off the chart. The plays where he is playing floor general and directing players where to go is what you’d expect from a vet pg, and this is the dude’s ing 36th pro game. More to the point, you get the sense that over the past 10 or so games, the guy has taken ownership of the team and recognized that this is his team. And he’s ing 20 years old. The stories of him being an avid reader of sci-fi, calling Vegas dystopian, along with this kind of in game and his post-game interview from the DET game gives me some hope that he wants to be the face of this franchise for his whole career and not jump to a bigger market at the first chance. But holy is this guy a special ing player.
