the offseason is dead already. its time to just count the days till october 28. atleast for the lakers
Zach Randolph and Nate Robinson for Tim Duncan.
Now the trade proposed in this thread is no longer the worst trade proposal ever.

not happening.
But it does bring up a point. Bowen a huge trade asset, but noone ever mentions him in trades
because losing bowen is like losing one of the big 3. i think the big 3 plus bowen is untouchable.
I agree. But it does not mean we can't mention Bowen in possible trades.(TP, Manu have been mentioned) Which has not happened.
Bowen is going to suck next year. It showed in the Lakers series. Trade him, he is not untouchable he is as tradable as Bonner.
I agree Bowen has been on my no trade list.
However, never say never..
If I could get the right deal, make some room salary for other players we have our eyes on that it might be worth it.
Let's keep an eye out for Linas Klieza - playing for Lithuania -Denver Nugget
Also, how about thinking out of the box and asking that 6' 11" American Beach Olympic Volleyball SHOTBLOCKING STAR if he wants to visit San Antonio. Quick & Athletic is an understatement! Skinny maybe .. so was David when he arrived in S.A.
YEAH ING RIGHT!!! If I was a GM I would trade Bonner for a washer dryer!! Bowen is way bigger part to this team than Bonner ever will be.

word, bowen will not be an asset on the court next year
I didn't say Bonner played a bigger part than Bowen. Just said you can trade Bowen just like you can trade Bonner. I'd rather see Bowen come off the bench. Nobody is untouchable except maybe Tim.
You know the only reason i got raged is that you guys have no ing respect for someone who is kind enough to share something with you.

After your childish meltdown yesterday, you deserve no respect at all.
Nobody is tradeable as BONNER IS... NOBODY except Vaughn maybe.
Childish? that was you guys disrespecting me, when I was kind enough to share Information with you.
you guys keep saying Pop loves Bruce but he also loves athletic wing players. the Spurs have loved Desmond Mason since he was with Seattle.
Do you enjoy it when someone shares their from the toilet with you? I don't.
if u wanted us to take u seriously, you shouldnt have posted replies such as "suck my ". instead u should have defended urself by proving ur information is legit, but u failed to by acting childish.
Why is this thread still open???????? Shouldn't it be locked an deleted by now?????
yeah no joke, i know im a rookie and all, but my last post deja vu, had facts and actual concerns the spurs needed addressing.....they let it live about 3 seconds.........this one is still alive.......you wanna know what i really think?.....................................not much![]()
Lesson no. 1

Depends on what you bring to the table.
Wrong.
The Spurs have nobody close to Bowen in terms of perimeter defense and because the officiating in this league is a cross between the WWE and the Chinese Olympic Committee, Bowen's reputation alone gets him 2x more favourable 'non-calls' than anydoby not named Shane Battier.
Bowen's slowing down but who isn't? He stays.
If Pop really thought the spurs needed an athletic swingman (which they do, but obviously he doesn't) they would have drafted Donte Green
Desmond Mason is a good athletic scoring wing, but can't shoot a good % from outside of 10 feet, not sure how that would mesh with the spurs' offense, which requires people to have the ability to knock down the wide open 3
How could Bowen be a trade asset? He is an important role player on this team because of the system. He is practically useless on most other teams, and he is 37 years old. Bowen's trade value is much lower than his actual value on the Spurs, meaning that the Spurs will never get anything remotely close to his value to the team by trading him, which translates to Bowen != trade asset.
