man.....both teams are throwing up bricks now.
Seriously. I can't imagine how good he's going to be once the Cavs (or Nets in the future
) get a 2nd quality player next to him. That's truly all he needs.
man.....both teams are throwing up bricks now.
lmao they can spell Krzyzewski name right
well now they got Mo Williams... thats a very nice addition right there.
In Europe
You know where Europe is?
The USA has won like 3 World Championships...total. Only won one in the Dream Team era. We ALWAYS suck there. There are like 30 people in the US that even know there is a basketball World Championship.
Chris Paul hasn't got a clue how to play International Ball yet...when he figures it out, this team will be blowing people out by 40 and 50 points.
You think that's good?
Whether it's good or not...it's the truth.
If America don't know something they think it has no value.
Or when america suck at something they think it's good to say - the discipline is minor, nobody watching it etc.
You call it arrogance? iness?
no please inform me. also inform me where they were in terms of competing in the basketball olympics.
so?
You are happy about amnericans having no knowledge?
Are you happy about their stupidity as well?
I'd call it neither...you guys don't give a about baseball, does that make you arrogant or y?
It's just the way it is...FIBA WC's just aren't that big of a deal, for whatever reason...point is, it's a mistake to judge Team USA in the Olympics by what they did in the WC's.
Team USA hasn't won the WC since 1994...
Good game against a good team. Team defense was outstanding. I still think they are falling in love with the 3 a little much but still a great effort.
Good point. All that matters is what is going on right now and right now, Team USA looks very good.
neat. found absolutely nothing about poland doing in the olympics.
also found that a major reason the US hasnt won many world championship is because in the majority of them, pro players didnt even play. the best player on the 1998 team was Brad Miller, and he wasnt even in the NBA at that time. 2002 had a lot of the top players bail on the team. 2006 was a fluke, but the US still didnt have all their best players for that team either.
We don't give a about Water Polo either...
Or Rugby...and we're the defending champs in Olympic Rugby.
I don't know what to tell you. Somestuff people care about, and some stuff they don't...same as everywhere else.
What's really ed up is that football is the best game ever and none of you guys care about it...
Why?
Stupidity?
Arrogance?
iness?
I mean...ya'll care about Water Polo but not NFL? That's screwed up.
lol, butthurt
You think it's only America that does that?
Ambivalence...it's just the way it is. Some stuff people care about and other stuff we don't. Obviously we like basketball, but the WC's just never someting that interested us...Olympics yes, WC no.You call it arrogance? iness?
It's never been heavily promoted here...not even when we host it.
on a side note, anybody find it funny that Jason Kidd still hasn't even ATTEMPTED a single shot in Olympic play?
You're such a dumbass, try reading what he said. The WC's are almost like exhibition games in the eyes of the U.S, the players and the public put no stock into them because the only international basketball that matters in this country is the Olympics. It's like you're arguing for the sake of just talking and trying to be funny.
