You just want to argue ---you know as well as I do she will be on the Sunday shows soon enough. Not this week but you know she will.
I'm not afraid of Palin. I just want to know why the McCain campaign is afraid to have her on Sunday talk shows. Since that's what this topic is about, let's discuss that.
You just want to argue ---you know as well as I do she will be on the Sunday shows soon enough. Not this week but you know she will.
No, I want to discuss why the McCain campaign specifically won't commit to putting her on Sunday talk shows.
That's the topic.
Why won't they?
Logic would have it that the McCain campaign would want to capitalize on her enormous popularity. If I were Steve Schmidt I'd have her on every talk show, radio show, cereal box, and billboard that I could find. Everyone loves her and it would be an opportunity for her to talk up McCain and sell the ticket.
But something is awry if they are purposely hiding her. What are the scared of?
This may be why.....
Like I said, if you think she is that weak and can hurt the campaign by appearing on Sunday talk shows, I accept your characterization of Palin. It's just a bit surprising. I thought the party line was she is tough and can handle anything.
Good find.Palin: Still using the teleprompter
Introducing McCain just now in Albuquerque, Sarah Palin stuck to many of the same lines she used in her speech at the convention Wednesday and has reprised on the stump since.
And, in doing so, she's still relying upon a teleprompter to deliver her remarks.
They resemble music stands and are up on either side of the podium, with the prepared text scrolling down.
Don Frederick, who this thread is based on is nothing more than a blogger who post on the LA Times.
Palin still will be busy this weekend. She'll campaign Saturday with McCain in two key states -- Colorado and New Mexico -- and she'll deliver his campaign's weekly radio address. If Obama who is the presidential candidate refused to come on FNC till now ,then Sara can take her time a non issue .

Too bad he is quoting McCain campaign aides.Again, i'll get this thread back on topic:

Just saying she's busy is the lamest excuse you could make -- well, behind saying she's weak and needs to be protected like jochhejaam did twice.
There is a need for her to become acclimated to where McCain stands on the issues, but Palin weak, no, that would be a mischaraterization.
They are not going to, nor should they, push her into a lions den without being prepared.
That's a sign of intellligence, not a sign of weakness.
So she's unprepared and uneducated about the man she is running with and therefore needs to be protected from the media?
Nice.
You really don't think much of this woman.
It's really only intelligent campaign strategy if you are afraid she is going to commit an error of irrevocable proportions.
Otherwise it seems extremely stupid not to use the PR machine that is Sarah Palin to the maximum benefit.
She can reach more people on a Sunday talk show than she ever could campaigning for the next month.
It's the same reason Obama wouldn't come on FNC. She can go on when she feels like it.
Look, if you want to make excuses for Obama, do it in some other thread.
This is about Palin, who is supposed to be tough and ready for anything. If you want to say she is weak and unprepared, ok. Just say it.
The Republicans on this board think Palin is too weak and unprepared to be on Sunday talk shows.
Jumping to conclusions, are we?
Maybe she has responsibilities in Alaska as Governor...
You know, she is the only one of the four that has responsibility that cannot be ignored. As Govorner, you cannot even vote 'present' even when you are there!
No merit in your position.![]()
She is campaigning in Colorado and New Mexico with McCain this weekend.
Do you ever think to look something up before you just pull another lie out of your ass?
It's your position.
Pipe down CD, this thread is whatever we want it to be about.
So, why was Obama running away from debating McCain?
<It's the abadee-abadee factor>
non issue--![]()
He's debating McCain three times.
Now that you have declared your VP candidate to be weak and uninformed and unprepared, I guess it would be a good ideea for you to try to change the subject again.
Not to me anymore -- you guys have no faith in Palin.
I said "maybe"...
No facts were given of her location that I saw. I don't care where she is. As others pointed out, the media has already shown itself to be probama. She may even be busy otherwise. Maybe she's giving interviews about the 'troopergate' thing.
I know one thing though. To imply they are afraid of her in the publis eye is wrong.
