Spurs won't give up Bowen.
Problem with the Bobcats is I think they want to get some good players in return, instead of just dumping salary like the Knicks.
hey hey hey.....Bonner is a fine player

Would you ever take on Marbury's contract (up soon) just to purge our roster of all the sh1t players and to free up a huge amount of cap space?
Side effect: working Marbury into the rotation.
I'm not advocating this, as every team that Marbury has left, has gotten better and every team he has joined, has gotten worse.
Not saying that is his fault; I think the only way to make a team work with him is to treat him more as an Iverson shoot-first small guard.
Red Rockeeetttt!!!

it will never happen, every year the same talk about big trades.
I think its time!... god knows i love bowen and defense, but he is very much on the decline. You can literally see it. I think he still has some value and would balance another team very well with his experience and defensive mind. I am pro curry, pro wallace, pro ANYTHING! We just need to make some moves and spend some money somewhere! It's hard to believe after all the luck of acquiring cheap under the radar players (manu and tony) we don't have enough money to get another relatively big name. I would definatly trade bowen for curry ( and maybe a second round draft pick)
Who would want Bruce Bowen at his age? Seriously - he has ZERO trade value.
I just had a thought. lol yall may think its ridiculous but i don't give a @@@@. Wouldn't it be awesome if an organization actually let fans vote for what they want. I think it would not only keep everyone happy but actually attract more fans and bring in more money into the organization. It would be a great marketing approach. And maybe the FO would just step in when they know they got a steal like manu or tony for instance.
wouldnt work, unless we were trading one of the big three. even if we cleared every single other player off the roster, duncan/manu/parker eats up 45.5 mil of cap space next year. figure in min cap holds, and we are looking at less than 10 mil in space. and that cap figure goes up for whoever we did keep (hill? mason? ian?).
the deal isnt even doable though, as the knicks have a full roster (iirc), and i believe you have to have open roster spots when you swing any one-for-many player trades (cant cut the players coming in, have to have the spaces open before).
maybe portland who i read were actually interested in more veteran players.
Theres a difference between veteran, and a 38 year old veteran.
Can David Robinson come back?

He could put up 8-8-2 in 25 minutes a night.
= Oberto's stats in 82 games
Lol?
Oberto
4.8 pts
5.3 rbs
0.2 BLOCKS
in 20 minutes
And thats the good Oberto.
Or do u mean totals in 82 games?
Then yes, lol
I'd rather have Eddie Money than Eddy Curry.
