What about this "TAGGED" thing? That is what my oldest uses since I refused to let her have a myspace. I still don't like it but I have the password and I have made her delete some so called "friends" who I did not approve of.

I'm not so sure what is creepy about knowing what your kids are up to. To me, creepy is when a guy only wants to have a relationship with my 16 year-old daughter, online or offline, if they know they're not at risk of being monitored!

Possibly, but a place like that loses all the animosity. You know these people and what they're like, though sometimes it takes time to remember how they were/are.

It's a small gripe and only a select few do update it incessantly, but it is a bit much.

I suppose. I'd have to be a parent to understand. If I ever have a daughter though, she wont be leaving the house until she plans on moving out. I would never let my daughter date a guy, because I know how we think.

I never really got much into social networking sites before. However, it's huge among businesses and people looking to market themselves for jobs, etc.

Twitter seemed ridiculous to me in the beginning. But I get how it's beneficial.

Facebook seems to be alot more "professional" looking than Myspace. Just basic pages that have a person's full name. Not all these glittery pages that takes an hour to load because of all the stuff people have on their page.

I'm pretty sure the hardcore Nazi act is running its course smoothly now, but once your daughter goes to college she's probably going to end up boozing four nights a week, doing cocaine the other three, and having unprotected sex with any cute guy she meets.
