I totally agree with Kori's analysis on which players would be considered attractive purely on a physical level and the fact that the $$ and professional sports status makes most of them more attractive to many women than if they had other jobs.

Ask nice guys who look like Bonner how many women are drooling all over them at their jobs at Office Depot. On the other hand, guys like Ime and George would be considered good looking no matter what they did for a living.

How many times have "you" met a man or a woman who, at first glance, you thought...DAMN! He/she is hot! And then they open their mouths and suddenly, they aren't as good looking as you once thought?
And vice versa....

Personally, I'd rather date a guy who may have average looks, but has an awesome personality. It's also important to me that he has a job. He doesn't have to be pulling down a ton of money, but if he can show he's not a slacker, then he's golden in my book.
Add to that his character and the way he treats me, and I'll take all that over (insert hot/famous/rich person here) any day.

I think that most girls would say that

.... Hill, Udoka, Tony and Manu are good looking. (Though I think Manu lost some luster to many when he lost his hair.)

... Tim and Mason are average.

.... Bonner, Finley, Oberto and Bowen are not that attractive.

However, most single girls would go out with any of them because they have money and they are pro athletes.

I think that Manu was very handsome in 2005 with his long hair. He's still good looking but now with a bold spot. lol.

But I still think that probably the majority of the girls would choose Tony Parker as the most attractive.

I definitely think Tony is the most attractive Spur.

I think it's interesting so few people picked Michael Finley, since if you look at his features, he's pretty attractive by any objective measure.

And yes, there are studies that have tried to quantify and analyze attractiveness. What they have found is that people with the most symmetry and amount of "averageness" in each of their features individually (eyes, nose, mouth, etc) often makes for an "attractive" person across the widest range of people. I remember the same study found Denzel Washington to be one example of objective attractiveness, and some how Finley reminds me of Denzel.

Some people thoughtlessly talk about other persons or their feelings. In most cases because of the absolute ignorance in relation to reason for these feelings. In other cases some people have economic prejudices about these feelings. We don't know if you have these prejudices, however your comment about the money sounds a little judgemental. The question is who is the most physically ATTRACTIVE- not who is the nicest or who is the hardest working... Sorry, but you show a group of women a picture of Fabs without what he does for a living and the vast majority will not call him attractive.
And for the record, I adore Hedo, but I know he is not attractive by the world's physical standards.

No one of our high school thinks he's looking good. His nose and his bald spot don't help...on other hand Fab seems to like the girls.
Anyway. All girls (and boys of course) of the school think Manu's a great great player.
Maybe the teenagers like us haven't a taste for the exotic man, bald and with weird nose. Don't know. Perhaps the women've a taste for those men and the girls we prefer boys with hair. Or something like that.
However, there is no accouting for taste...
