I feel like for all the stuff i said, it just dawned on me that he continued to play on that crap for over 2 qrtrs and refused med treatment and wanted to play..

I think the "Soft" label is the dumbest thing ever, because that is the true sign of a warrior.

If there is anyone that feels like right now, its Yao.

Yao doesn't deserve the lack of respect i gave him in teh earlier pages of this thread. I

    am sorry.

This is why Sook was banned from Clutchfans.....

Yao is indeed injury prone, I hope he gets well and stays healthy next year....I would however look for a more durable player to focus the team around and move Yao to a more complimentary role.

Carl Landry's comments on the Yao Situation and how the Rockets must play now that Yao is out.
“Be aggressive. In the second quarter we were without Yao. We are role players. We play well. That’s something we have to get used to. That’s something we are used to playing without Yao. He’s been hurt this year. Hurt last year. And we’ll just run our sets and run our stuff and move the ball and get good shots.”
    From the Houston Chronicle

Rockets center Yao Ming was ruled out for the remainder of the sesaon after a hairline fracture was found in his left foot Saturday evening.

The Rockets had hopes he could play Sunday in game 4 in their series against the Los Angeles Lakers, but additional diagnostic tests found the fracture.

The hairline fracture will not require surgery but will require an eight-to-12 week rehabilition. This is the third consecutive year that Yao’s season was interrupted or ended by a fracture of a bone.

“Yao Ming had an initial test taken in the early morning hours on Saturday following the game,” said Rockets team physician Tom Clanton in a press release. “The original diagnosis of the left ankle sprain was based on the results of that test. Further diagnostic procedures performed later in the day revealed a hairline fracture on the top of his left foot. In order for the bone to heal properly, Yao will need to immobilize the foot by wearing a walking boot. No surgery is required and he should be able to resume his regular workout routine sometime between the next eight to 12 weeks.”

small ball here we come! Well, maybe having Scola play Center isn't that horrible. Now we can have Landry and Scola on the floor at the same time.

I am curious to see how that works out Indazone, but can you imagine Lowry/Brooks/Artest or Wafer/Landry/Scola?

That lineup would run circles around the lakers but our defensive presence would be bad.

    Starting Point Guard Brent Barry
    Starting Shooting Guard Ron Artest
    Starting Small Forward Shane Battier
    Starting Power Forward Carl Landry
    Starting Center Luis Scola
Sixth man - Aaron Brooks off the bench.

Brent is smarter than the rest of our point guards put together. They are fukn clueless. Might as well put a veteran in there

LOL you vastly over rate him. He has thrown someof the dumbest passes all year. If he can't shoot = useless.

I want to see either lowry or landry start. If Bynum starts i want to see hayes.

Luckily for the Rockets Gasoft got eaten up by 6-9 Boozer in the first round, and we all know Bynum sucks so the Rockets definitely still have a chance in the series even though they will be undersized.

heard it on abc. wanted to say it first.

The LaLa Land Fakers are the luckiest bunch of girliboyz on the planet. They lucked out last year when Manu went down and now Yao goes down. The pussies from Plastic Land couldn't beat their way out of a 3' pile of cow manure much less win a championship without Shaq. Oh well this will be their 3rd failure since they last won 3 with Shaq. Then again Denver may kick the fakers ass from Sunset Blvd. to Times Square, thus not allowing the Cavs the pleasure of kicking the rapist's ass..

Phil Jackson is so relieved. And Bynum will have the pressure off of him now.

Phil will probably go back to the starting line up he had in game 1.

I have no confidence in Adelman..He'll run the offense through Artest and Von Wafer.
Landry should play more minutes but I bet he'll be ignored.

Where were you when Andrew Bynum and Trevor Ariza went down for the season last year?

You stupid redneck hick . Go your sister.
