Distance, as in going far, in the playoffs refers to round. If you go 7 in the first round that doesn't mean you went deeper than a team that swept the first round and has only played four games.

And it has nothing to do with date season ends either...

Teams don't play on the same days so by the stupid rationale you are using it's possible for both teams to play the exact same number of games but you still win if the Rockets series started a day later... sometimes it's possible for you to play fewer games and still have your season end later.

Agree that once there are at least 15 or so votes, the person with the most wins.

In my opinion, both teams got to the second round. You can't really determine the winner by "date" because of scheduling. When the Mavs beat the Spurs in '06, I'm sure most fans would say the Spurs got to the second round, not "the Spurs took Dallas to 7 games in the second." The fact is, only one team has made it further than any other in the West at this point -- the Nugs. One extra win doesn't equal the next level.

Never surrendered. He just was so passionatley against my interpretation, I said whatever you think, basically. I was kind of fed up with it. The terms were not clear. I really don't care if I stay or tempaband.
