So why do so many people believe that they will even stand a chance against a much, much better, fully manned Denver team? Those that detract from the Nuggets accomplishments thus far should recall that this year's success has been predicated on excellent defense and the leadership of Chauncey Billups. Who is good defense personified.

This series will be more about momentum than matchups. The Lakers in this upcoming series will be matched up with a team as good if not better than themselves. This is when you'll see the weaknesses of the Lakers really start to show up. Superfluke Bynum will be a non-factor and Fisher will be tied up in knots by the play of Billups.
