Draft Prospect: Jeremy Lin

Good story and all but I wouldn't want him on my team if I was a contender. Turns the ball over a ton and that shooting percentage is gonna drop. This type of player needs the ball A LOT to be effective; you have to ask yourself... do you want the ball in the hands of Amare Stoudemire or Jeremy Lin? Carmelo Anthony or Jeremy Lin? I mean, props and all, he's playing out of his mind, but you can't win in the playoffs with him dominating the ball... that's for damn sure.

Poor basketball take. Lin is exactly what that team needs. They need a playmaker. Or to be specific, Stoudemire needs a Steve Nash to be most effective. That is essentially what Jeremy Lin is, a Steve Nash lite. They certainly don't need Stoudemire trying to handle the ball at the top of the key or Carmelo Anthony for that matter.

For comparison sake, I'd at least pick someone who plays the same position. Lots of players have "smarts" and "motor".

Personally whenever I see Jeremy Lin I think of a young Steve Nash.

Thats an overstatement. The guy played in 8 games. Steve nash didn't look like steve nash 8 games into his career. Did you see a little john elway in tim tebow this year, you know, with all those 4th quarter comebacks.
