I don't know about 13, but I know for sure at least 2 people in this thread are under 16.![]()
What has happened to this forum?
I don't know; seems like all of you spurs fans were owned.![]()
Ummm....okay?
Damn....you guys really are new to smack-talking.![]()
This is the lamest smack talking thread I have ever seen....
It reminds me of the episode of Frasier where Frasier has been insulted by the shock jock morning show guys and so he composes a diatribe that he plans on readng to get back at them.

I don't rememeber anyone here saying that Duncan would beat up a poster from another team.
So true.
These mcnugget fans have the stupidest replies...
well what can you expect, they lost, we would have stupid replys if we had lost also.
No, we would have had angry or frustrated replies...but theirs don't make any sense at all... I understand them being tools, but they're re ed tools.
this thread is a waste of time
Well a lot of people had fun in this thread.
Waste of time?
Isn't that what you do all day on this forum?
Waste time?
Am I the only one who sees the humor in this.

whole thread to the day care forum
Kenyon Martin
On the game - “They came out and played. That’s what we expected them to do. We didn’t expect them to make shots like that; we expected them to play hard. We’re upset. We did what we came to do. We wanted to get both we didn’t.”
“It don’t matter we’re going home to win two games.”
On what did the Spurs do to take Martin out of his game - “I got into foul trouble.”
On if he considers this a successful trip - “Why not, next question.”
On Tim Duncan - “They did a heck of a job getting him the ball."
On if the team was embarrassed about the outcome of the game - “We lost, next question.”
I'm curious, what do you expect him to say? "We are a horrible team and we are losing in five?"
Just for kicks, lets analyze the questions and his answers:
On the game - “They came out and played. That’s what we expected them to do. We didn’t expect them to make shots like that; we expected them to play hard. We’re upset. We did what we came to do. We wanted to get both we didn’t.”
“It don’t matter we’re going home to win two games.”
Translation: The Nuggets expected the fire from the Spurs. They expected them to play well. They didn't expect a team who hits 36% of their three point shots to hit 55% of them or to shoot 67% the first half. That's the way it goes, we are going to win two games at home.
As a Nugget fan, I have no issues with him saying any of that. I expected the Spurs to come out hungry and expected them to win the game. I didn't expect them to be that hot, that early. I doubt the Nuggets did either. It's something they'll learn from.
On what did the Spurs do to take Martin out of his game - “I got into foul trouble.”
Not accurate in the least. He picked up his second with about four minutes left in the first. Bad quote. Frustration quote. Not cool.
On if he considers this a successful trip - “Why not, next question.”
The reporter just asked someone who was blown out if this was a successful trip. While the answer was a bit flippant, keep in mind, this WAS a successful trip for the Nuggets. Despite the players talking two, everyone knew a split would be a success for the Nuggets. They did exactly what they needed to do to give them a chance at this series.
On Tim Duncan - “They did a heck of a job getting him the ball."
Yep, they did. TD got the ball in perfect spots and hit his shots. I think it surprised the Nuggets to be honest. He looked pretty poor in the first game from a movement standpoint. I think the Nuggets gameplanned off of that and were a little stunned at how well he played.
On if the team was embarrassed about the outcome of the game - “We lost, next question.”
Translation: Yes, we were embarrassed. Badly. But at the end of the day it's one game. Lets move on.
I don't see what the fuss is over this. It's not like he came out like some of the people on this board and cried that the refs cost him the game.![]()
another mcnugget to bash on!
He just didn't want to admit that he got owned..On Tim Duncan - “They did a heck of a job getting him the ball."
what kind of an excuse is that? Heck of a job getting him the ball...LMFAO!!!!
I never knew that NBA players didn't know hot to pass...
dude just because no one replies does not mean people do not read them and like them
the nba has more traffic
if people would only post spurs related stuff in this forum more would use it
Actually, we should appreciate Troy because he posted a good analysis unlike some other Nuggets fans here. Its simple we are going to view Martin's quotes as rude (which some of them were rude and prideful) and the Nuggets' fans are going to view them as nothing basically.
I understand that, but it doesn't change the fact that Kenyon Martin's answers were rediculous...
foul trouble=bull
Spurs did a good job on giving Duncan the ball= He said that only to avoid saying "TD owned the out of our interior defense"
Don't tell me it's hard to pass the ball to Tim Duncan...the Spurs do a good job getting him the ball every game...
In his reply to "tim duncan" he should have explained why he didn't stop him...
It's very easy to sit behind a keyboard and talk about a celebrity/sports player/poilitical official.
My point was If he was to tap him on the shoulder as he posts on an internet board he would his pants.
Yeah w/e dude.
I never called him a thug.
