    Yeah I can't wait till the summer where I can fully do it. I wasn't even using school as an excuse. There are some people motivated and disciplined enough to do it during school, I'm not one of those people. When I'm in school me going on sugar binges the night before exams is inevitable so it's stupid for me to waste time trying to do P90X during school.

    I just don't know if P90's diet plan is reasonable or caters to more exotic time consuming foods to make.
    Do you like canned tuna, salmon and black beans? That's what I eat. A lot of Brazil nuts/almonds too I guess. I grill salmon fillets and make salmon croquets with the canned stuff. That's about as exotic as I get and I find it reasonable.

    Mainly, I've just found it expensive. Clean protein don't come cheap in a corn fed America that loves itself some cheap empty carbs.

    Cow's milk is specifically perfect and engineered for turning baby cows into hulking several hundred lb beasts within a year's time. It is not natural for humans to drink it; milk is made for building bovine life, not sustaining human.

    If you guys want to take supplements, take Zinc! It is really underrated, a bottle of 50 tabs will only cost around $5 at the most.

    It boosts your testosterone which leads to more muscle and faster muscle recovery. Your body needs zinc to produce sperm, so your loads will be a lot bigger as well (No joke), plus your sex drive will go up.

    Canned tuna/salmon, no. Black beans, yes. Almonds and brazil nuts are good. I'm just on a budget so if it's having me buy fresh fish every day I can't do that. I buy those big bags of chicken breast, lean hamburger, ground turkey, and skirt steak. What are some good replacement sides that are not carbs?

    I'm almost two thirds of the way through right now. Started my second recovery week today in fact. I started off thin except for a minor beer gut. Now I'm rail thin through the stomach and cut like I've never been before. Not saying that to brag, but just saying, the flat out works. I was amazed after three weeks at the change in my physique. It's an awesome program.

    Even if you're fit, you'll need to take some time before you jump in. I was in decent shape, but I spent three weeks sore as , skipping/quitting workouts, having ty form and generally faking my way through it before I realized I'd really been failing and needed to start over. I did that and ever since, haven't missed even part of a workout. You can't half-ass your way through it. So I'd say spend a couple weeks familiarizing before you officially start. I also made a point to start on Sunday, cause as a product of the weekend, Sat is the one day I'd like to be able to rest and go out and do , without worrying about having to do p90.

    I'd suggest adjustable dumbbells as well. I use everything from piddly little 5 lbs for a couple things all the way up and between to 45 lbs for some of the shoulder stuff. I'm sure stronger dudes would need more. So if you're that, get more. I wish I had more for a few things, but I don't yet. And I don't have a nice dial up set, just bars and plates with clips to hold them on.

    I haven't followed the exact diet per se. I was already pescetarian with no dairy or processed ty foods in my diet. I've looked at it though, the first phase anyway: it's basically all protein (lean as possible) and vegetables. Almost no fat, sugar or carbs. Which means very little fruit, bread and rice. Don't even think about soda and candy. All I've had/tried to do is cut the out of my carbs. Not following the exact plan, but all I'm eating is fish, beans, hemp protein, vegetables, hemp milk/orange juice and water. I'm still drinking beer and whiskey, which is where I'm getting any carbs from, in addition to the OJ I mix with the hemp protein. I find it tolerable, but yeah, I was almost there before I started.

    You need to find a chuggable protein source. Hemp protein is the only way to go tbh. Even if it's more expensive. Whey is re ed. Reading on such here:

    be careful with excess zinc, it depletes copper, which causes neuropathy.

    better to eat fresh foods with zinc rather than synthetic zinc chemicals.

    P90X is legit. It's basically circuit training with enough variability to prevent the body from becoming used to the routine.

    I've been doing Crossfit + Strength Training/BodyBuilding + Cardio. Nutrition is the most important thing. Find your BMR, subtract 500 calories from it, that's you daily caloric intake in order to lose fat. You can increase the deficit by a few hundred calories until you notice you are not losing fat (starvation) or have no energy to complete your workouts. Macro-nutrient ratio is also important. A lot of people aim for 40% Protein, 40% Carbs, 20% Fat within their daily caloric intake. You can do low carb/keto and get most of your energy from fats though.

    I've also found Fiber (I use ground-up psyllium husk) & Fish Oil to be very beneficial. Whey is not bull Just drink LOTS of water. Not just to protect your kidneys but water keeps all of the cells hydrated and helps you recover.

    My diet is basically
    *Morning Shake (PWO) contents:
    - Skim Milk
    - Whey Protein
    - Cottage Cheese
    - Greek Yogurt
    - Fish Oil
    - Multivitamin
    - Blueberries
    - Peanut Butter
    * Chicken Roll
    - Basically a 5 oz. boneless skinless chicken breast with broccoli & cheese inside wrapped up with a piece of turkey bacon wrapped around the whole thing
    - Spinach
    - Sweet Potato
    * Whey & Almonds
    * Steak/Chicken + Mixed Vegetables
    * An Egg + Some Egg Whites + low fat Sausage

    Sleep is also crucial. That's where the magic happens.

    Sure its a source of protein. It's ty for your body though. It gums up your intestines, causes intestinal toxemia, blocks absorption of other nutrients. Plus it's acidic as all and generally s up ph balance throughout the body. It's a dead protein that's been heated and pasteurized like a mofo.

    Why not take hemp and get quality, raw, living, ph neutral, amino and omega rich protein that's easily absorbed by the body and provides insane amounts of raw fiber to boot?

    Really, there isn't even half a debate, imho.
