just make sure you can use ESPN3 under your current ISP. I have time warner and they are not under agreement with ESPN3; which sucks

For those of you with NBATV, it looks like they're currently scheduled to show the Spurs games against the two LA teams (vs. Lakers on 7/15, vs. Clippers on 7/17). For some reason the schedule doesn't go out to 7/18 yet.

    http://www.nba.com/nbatv/schedule/
Actually...I just ran through the whole schedule and all of the Spurs games will be shown on NBATV, just some of them on replays. This works out for me, as I will be out of town all week long and I will record them and watch them after I get back. Here are the times:

    7/13 - Spurs vs. Timberwolves @ 4AM ET
    7/15 - Spurs vs. Hawks @ 7AM ET
    7/15 - Spurs vs. Lakers @ 3PM ET(live...replay at 4AM)
    7/17 - Spurs vs. Clippers @ 8PM ET(live)
    7/19 - Spurs vs. Grizzlies @ 9AM ET

Try signing up someplace that has internet from a provider who does have the agreement. I signed up at a place that has U-verse and I can sign in and use ESPN3 with any provider now.

I took my laptop to a friend's house who has U-verse and signed up for an ESPN account there, telling them my ISP is AT&T. They keep that information, so when you are at another place using a different ISP, you just log into your account and sometimes you have to remind them you signed up under AT&T. I'm always able to watch ESPN3 at home using Time Warner.

Paul George just showed why he will be a great player in the future: Today he was not shooting well like 4-19 yet he was still competing on the defensive end and was getting to the FT line (perfect for the day). You could tell he was frustrated by his shot not falling (I'm not sure if he made a change it his shot from what I saw in youtube, but he now has something the resembles a SJAX shot that is someone I would compare George to).

Anyway the Celtics had a chance to put the game away and go up 4 but George got the steal off a bounce pass and Pacers called at TO. You would figure since he is shooting well, they Pacers wouldn't run a play for him but out the TO they run an inbound play for him. He gets free off a screen and receives the ball in the left corner, goes baseline and gets the reverse lay up and the and 1. He makes the FT, putting the Pacers up 1. The Cs have trouble getting the ball in and barely get out of the backcourt and end up with a bad shot at the buzzer.

It was a great redemption play for George, to play that bad offensively the entire game, yet have the ball in your hand to tie or win the game and he does just that.

    He has a bright future.

George definitely did not have one of his better games today. He started out well, but looked kind of fatigued from the second quarter onward. He was a little sloppier than usual, and his defense against Acie Law IV was far from what I've been used to seeing from Hill. Acie was able to get past him several times on the drive, and he was the first guy I think I've seen get past Hill more than once. Hill does a good job of recovering when he gets beat initially (more on that in a second).

Despite the poor game, Hill came up big in clutch time. Spurs were down one with about 20 seconds to go. True to typical Spurs form, they had Hill dribble the ball between the circles and sent everyone else off to the wings on an iso play. Hill made a good move to get into the lane, almost lost the ball for a second, but then recovered and went up strong near the hoop, drawing the foul. He hit two clutch free throws to put the Spurs up 1, 83-82. Hawks got the ball with 6.9 seconds left and, after using a timeout, ran a similar iso play for Acie Law. Hill let Law penetrate all the way to within 5 feet of the hoop, but when Acie went up for the shot, Hill got all ball and got the jump ball call with 2.0 seconds left. (Side note: Hill blocks a very good amount of shots for someone his size, especially on help defense.) On the jump ball, Acie Law didn't really seem to try for some reason; Hill did the smart thing and knocked the ball to the other side of the court, and time expired before the ball went out of bounds.

....Sorry, what? You weren't talking about George Hill?

Not particularly surprised. I currently expect him to be in Europe for another year or two; he's just too raw to spend a roster spot on. Unlike Mahinmi, they can't lock him in (up to 4 years of rookie contract), without spending part of the MLE. Therefore if he turned out good in the D-league (in a 1 year contract) he would be a FA without the Spurs having any rights. Even if he was on a 2 year contract, we would only have limited bird rights. I predict they will leave him in Europe a la Tiago until either they have some MLE money available to bring him over on a contract with long term practicality for the Spurs.

Hmm... Can you get video though? Because I signed up with Comcast, but when I go to work (where we have Verizon), it changes the top logo to 'sponsored by Verizon'. IE: It seems to detect by your IP what provider you're using.

    Terrance Williams is a beast.
This kid must think this summer league is all about him cause he sure as doesn't want anyone else to shoot the ball. I think James has been much more effective for his team than williams this summer.

Ah, they got wise to what I was doing. They are now requiring you to actually sign in to an AT&T account to gain access from an out-of-agreement account. Looks like I'll have to ask for my friend's login information -- he doesn't use the actual account for anything.
