thats not what i meant. i meant that they can use their cap space to sign james and bosh, and THEN use the bird rights that they have on WADE to sign him to a max contract since they will be over the cap. but now that i think about it since they didnt extend wade earlier that is probably not possible.

In that scenario, Wade would still be signed using his Bird Rights (one extra year and larger annual raises)

They don't have enough cap room as things stand today to sign 3 max FA's, but they could. You can't use cap space to sign FA's then use Bird Rights. They don't allow that because it cir vents the rules.
