Game 5 was the only one I thought where it was just obvious ( ala 2002 G6 WCF)...especially at the end. Can't blame the refs for Games 3,4, and 6 though, imho

I'm not changing my tune on that series. Mavs choked period. As many free throws as D-Whistle got down the stretch the Mavs also got the same freebies when it mattered. The difference is Wade made his....the Mavs didn't. They choked under the spotlight Karl Malone style and missed those freebies. , one of those games they choked 3 free throws in the last in minute while trying to keep the lead. You think they deserve a championship doing that ? I don't think so.

I don't have a problem with you or any other Mavfan feeling the way y'all do. No bull . When you're as in passionate about your team like most of us here are to post on a message board consistently, that's just the way it is. Your team gets wronged or you perceive to be wronged and you feel it as if it was you yourself - plus I felt and experienced plenty of the same before the Spurs finally broke through.

But the Spurs had to break through. They had to take that . In '03 when the Spurs had to win Game 6 to end the Lakers reign on their home floor - after seeing what happened to Sac the year before in Game 6 and 7 - their star (Duncan) manned up and in punked their ass, leaving nothing in the refs hands. Every fan base outside the Lakers knows how 50-50 or 40-60 calls go when you're playing the Lakers late. You gotta take that . Dirk and the Mavs didn't. They had every opportunity - they had a 2 2/3s - 0 lead and couldn't win two of four with a superior team and home-court advantage. That's just real talk.

good to see that some people here see how wade got these calls...

honest laker fans should see that this is how it is when kobe gets all these phantom calls in the playoffs...and gets gifted an extra 10-15 free throws just like that...

Can't we all agree that the Mavs lost because of a combination of bad calls, Wade playing the best 4 games of his career, and the Mavs just flat out playing like . I mean seriously, if the Mavs had half-assed it, they still would have won the Finals. But hey that is in the past. I hate it that the Mavs lost but that's how it went down. I will admit that a part of me as a Mavs fan and NBA fan died when the Heat "won" game 6.
