Yoda Jackson agrees.
That is what I am talking about. I don't mind seeing some hard fouls, but doing it in a meaningless game against the sisters of the poor because you can get away with it is a move.
You need a few of those in the playoffs, like we said, but this is just a petty move. Also, hard fouls need to be planned. That type of foul could really end someone.
Yoda Jackson agrees.
It was petty...but like I said he's just a kid so he'll learn from it. Not only was it a stupid foul, but the game was very much in doubt at that point and his absence could've cost us--especially since he was the only Laker other than LO grabbing boards. I'm sure Phil read him the riot act.
If this was a 10-12 year vet pulling this, I would understand the outrage.
Karma...
Youth is a bull excuse IMO. He is around a vet team that has won les. Duncan didn't do that when he was young. Blake is young and gets hammered more than Bynum and he doesn't do that .
Thats just an excuse when there is none.
crofl...Spurfan will look to anything for help in beating LAL. Karma is the rallying cry of the hopeless
At the end of the day this is much ado about nothing. Opposing fans will try to blow it out of proportion, but in the end it's a non-issue.
Odom, in that video is absolutely incensed.
Matzel, Matzel, good things!
I agree, I was just disagreeing that "youth" is a valid argument for the reasons I pointed out.
Just saw the play..Bynum is building himself a reputation of being one of the dirtiest players in the NBA..hopefully he breaks his leg soon..
awwwww...here, let me catch your tears
they will cultivate my homegrown
That foul appeared to be a "shut you up" hack in reaction to trash talking. Last night's game wrap indicated that Artest and Beasley were yapping at each other all night. I'm guessing the Lakers as a whole were sick of hearing Beas which would explain Odom's and Barnes' posture after Beasley hit the floor. They didn't look too sorry he went down, did they?
Not justifying the foul, just explaining it. It was a dirty play and Bynum deserves at least a 1-game unpaid vacation for it.
Rambis is still a Laker, he said he didnt have a problem with it so we good.![]()

The weed baggies on the table always crack me up.
The bench wants to throw down all the time tbh. Odom doesnt back down, Barnes doesnt back down, Chris Brown doesnt back down & that little whiteboy Blake always goes at it with bigs for some reason.
Bynum's hit list is growing:
- Shaq (2006-2007 season) - gave him a forearm shiver (didn't budge his fatass though) after dunking on his ass
- LBJ (2007-2008 season) - not flagrant 2, but he knocked him on his ass for barrelling through the lane. LBJ got up, glared at him, but didn't do because he knows what's up
- Crash (2008-2009 season) - collapsed lungGreg Oden (2008-2009 season) - ended Greg's season
- Kendra Porkins (2009-2010 season) - ended Celtics' le hopes and his season
- Beasley (2010-2011 season) - probably will miss a few games or so - unless he hits the chronic
I looked at the vid of the Beasley play. He will get a few games off via suspension no doubt and I'm ok with that. He was already averaging over 2 bpg since the ASB. The above hard fouls will only add to the Lakers' intimidation and sends a crystal clear message to the league: don't come in the lane. He's already deterred many shot attempts at the rim because many players were worried about getting their shots swatted. Now players will be lining up to take out extra 1-game insurance policies when they play the Lakers.![]()
That was the one...the one where Media thought they had it for all time. Daddy taking Bynum and showing him where the bear in the buckwheat.
Uh, uh.
Media didn't have to home after Bynum made Daddy immediately sorry, but, they had to get the out a there.
