Yeah, seriously.
Not switching teams in terms of his handling, but the lame fashion in which he did it and then tried to make it seem like a goodwill thing when he involved the charity to deflect from the egotistical show he was putting on....if it was all about charity, why apologize, even if it was halfhearted/insincere-sounding and coming after you think you got the win that would cash your ticket to a ring so you were feeling good about yourself?
Bosh is along for the ride.
Yeah, seriously.
Your just a hater face it. You cant bear to see lebron win a ring. Your a hoe tbh
Hoe or hater? Pick one.
Crawford had 4 points at the beginning of the 2nd half, now he has 6 to start the 4th?!![]()
Anyone else see the Hawk mascott at the bottom of the screen?
Take note hitman, this is how it's going to go down tomorrow night my friend.![]()
Your boys were an afterthought, yet are out of the playoffs by means of sweep. Not trying to talk at all. Heat are still in the playoffs, and are now the favorites. Is it their fault that the Hype is there? I think not.
I don't see how you think a team with two top five players on the roster is a gimmick team. When you have two big scorers, naturally you alternate the scoring load. There's nothing streaky about it as they are proven scorers. They take quite a bit of shots for their team and more often than not they are both bound to get into a rhythm at some point.
They both are super athletic like Rose, and get to the basket with ease. Much like other wing players in the prime over the course of history, they draw contact due to drives. Kobe was the same in his prime.
Kobe is losing his athleticism, and pump fakes a lot now. He has lost some ability to beat his man off the dribble as opposed to his former self. He's getting older, and consequently must work harder to maintain production. He's getting wear and tear as well. You can't pin it all on how the opposition plays him. That's pretty weak IMO.
You're pretty much saying that any of the remaining teams can beat the Heat. Time will tell. It's easier taking the field as opposed to one team. We'll see.
Nah....the Grizz have a MUCH better homecourt than the Hawks and they play the same kind of intense defense as the Bulls when they're hyped. They've really kept Durant and Westbrook in check during first halves for the mostpart. It's OKC's bench that's given them trouble, mainly Harden. I think they'll take it to the first Game 7 of the playoffs.
I don't think you'd care about how a player announces his switching of teams if it was Matt Bonner, or any other player of that stature.
I'm sure he feels an attachment to Cleve seeing as how he's from there, but as most players are, he was concerned about his personal success. Who isn't? At the end of the day you must put yourself in the best position for success. What success means is different in many cases, but we all know he wants to win. When you mean that much to a franchise, you're going to get no matter what when you leave.
A lot of players have egos and can put on a show. Do you hate them too?
You don't realy see Smith spin to his left when backing down in the post, he always kicks it out or goes for the hook which is easy to defend if you have length because it's easy to anticipate.
Thibs voice![]()

I didn't think anyone could have a worse voice than Bill Cartwright. You can still hear him yelling.
This 's over, folks.
Gonna be Heat and Bulls in the ECF.
No matter who it was I'd think it was lame and cheesy, it's worse because it was LeBron who's had a history of doing lame/cheesy things since coming into the league. He made the decision in the best interest for him in terms of winning becase he had a solid, future HOF'er that could take pressure off of him, so to a degree I can't fault him. On the other hand, with what he'd help to build up in Cleveland I would've had more respect if he'd stayed and saw it through. That's just me.
In terms of ego, how many egotistical players stage a one-on-one sitdown to announce their free agency on primetime and then try to pass it off as charity to deflect heat (no pun intneded)? I'm not big on egos in general, but that was over the top imo.
This was so boring.
I was hoping ATL would at least make it interesting.
Their homecourt is better, you're right, BUT it couldn't give them the push to take a pivotal lead in overtime though it did give them that something extra to take advantage of the Thunder's miscues (and Westbrook's screwups) at the end of Game 3. They do a good job in terms of ball denial on the perimeter, but they've left the lane open most of the series because they can't stay in front of any of OKC's wings if they keep their dribble. Hollins left Z-Bo and Gasol in the Game last night longer than he should while Brooks got his guys rest when the game got out of hand, so we'll see if that factor's in.
Looking forward to it.....![]()
Not butthurt that my boys are out of the 'offs. It wasn't our year and I fully expect them to be in the thick of things next year.
Fair points, but I still say they get more help from the refs than they need. Sure Kobe doesn't go to the hole like he used to, but explain to me why he is beat up? I mean, how does a jump shooter suffer broken fingers? Laker fans everywhere have acknowledged that ever since the Colorado incident, the refs generally swallow their whistles with him. He will go several games at a time without an FTA when clearly he was fouled. If you so much as sneeze at LBJ or Wade, it's a foul. If the refs call the game the same for everybody you wouldn't hear a peep out of me. But we know that's not the case.
No, I'm saying that lesser players get to rough him up because they know the refs won't call a foul more often than not. It has to be damn near an obvious flagrant foul for him to get a FTA.
Well, these Bulls swept them 3-0 and they are 0-2 against Dallas. I'm not sure what the series is against OKC, but we know that they were 0-3 against Boston when Perkins was there. OKC >> Boston this year. So I like the odds of the Heat not winning it all this year. But like you said, we will see.
Go Bulls/Thunder/Dallas!![]()
Korver's going to have to find his shot in the next round before Miller possibly finds his. Going to need that scoring outlet in Chicago.
Sad.
Stay to applaud your teams effort in the season you ers.
ZBo knows he's played like the last couple of games. He won't play like that 3 games in a row. I expect him to go physically at every Thunder defender including Collison and put them on their heels. And some time this series Tony Allen has to make some layupsI've lost count the blown layups the Grizz have had in this series. Game 6 they'll drop.
Hopefully Noah and Asik whack the out of Bosh, epsecially if the Bulls go small.
Respect in regards to what? Getting talent to come there? If other really good players don't want to play there, you can't fault him for their decisions. And without good players, he isn't winning anything except for what he did with what he had. Which, was pretty damn good if you look at it. He had no real second option his entire time in Cleve.
No other player has called a conference to announce his switching of teams, that's right. But is it any different from a player announcing he's going into the draft from college, or high school (In years past) by means of press conference etc? I think not.
Furthermore, other players have done egotistical things once paired, or with the intent to be paired with other great players. Example, Paul Pierce saying he's the best player in the world a little bit ago when the Celtics were rolling and on top of the world.
