Fozzy Whittaker is going to be to pay out of that wildcat formation. He has such an amazing burst once he beats the first level, and we never got to see that with him as an every-down back.
Harsin is all about playing everyone that can play, but putting them in situations where they can play well. We're seeing what Fozzy shoulda been in the last 3 years (given good health). Defenses can't do when Monroe is in motion and the snap is directly to Fozzy. They can't do . They can do NOTHING
UT's secondary is the most underrated in the conference, maybe even the nation. Kenny Vacarro is the human steroid, and Byndum+Philips have pure CB instincts and good hands.
Manny Diaz is all about risk. He doesn't hesitate to put everyone but 1 or 2 safeties right on the line of scrimmage at ANY given 3rd down. I had no idea what package we were rolling out on some defensive plays cuz everyone was just right on the line staring their man right in the eye.
We saw what his defense can do when given a point cushion early in the game. In the words of Emil from Robocop, "I LIKE IT!"
Harsin is so ing good that theres no way he stays here that long. There's just no ing way. I still need to see his offense against the big boys, but that didn't seem to stop Boise in preceding seasons from scoring in big games.
What an au ious start to the season. Go horns.
tbqmfh, saying that one play where case mccoy (clearly not a player remotely comparable in any way to Vick) did some bizzare moves and a guy jokingly said he looked like vick, as opposed to a legit comparison of Malcolm Brown to Mark Ingram who have a LOT of similarities and legit comparisons, are completely different.
but congrats, i suppose you win this round
but wait
you are still aggy, so thats an automatic DQ
thinking A&M has a legit chance to compete in the SEC
texas certainly showed off some great young talent tonight and they seem to be improving from week to week. hard to say how impressive the wins were though as ucla also gave up tons of points to U of H and byu got rolled by utah tonight. still, i think texas stays undefeated to the OU game before they suffer their first loss. nice young core that should get better as the season progresses.
