Larry Brown is a great coach for turning teams around and winning everywhere's he been. Phil Jackson is also a great coach for taking the best players and winning lots of les.
They sort of represent the two extremes in models for being a sucessful coach.
I honestly don't know whether it's harder to do what Brown did or to do what Jackson did, but I do know that both come with some interesting psychological baggage.
