Corpus Christi loves the Spurs. It's awesome seeing a fellow fan with their Spurs flag! We can't help but honk and wave to each other. GO SPURS GO! SA needs to have the parade and celebration on the weekend so that all the out -of -town fans can join the celebration!

I can't begin to describe how much it sucks being away from the Mecca of bball especialy at a time like this.
Have been watching the games starting at 3AM over here in The Netherlands and going straight to work afterwards.
I was planning to sleep during the afternoon, but it is too damn hot over here to sleep during the afternoon!
So I have been walking around like a silver and black zombie for the past week.
Just like everything I do involving the Spurs, people around me are calling me crazy and all kinds of but the ones who do know what it realy means to me praise my loyalty.
So once again thank you Mouse for thinking of all us foreign silver and black bleeders.
I am proud to say I have been following the Spurs since 1992 and although I didn't think I would still be so into it since David left I am pumped to the max for these Finals games and let me tell you it's damn frustrating not to be amongst all y'all over there in the Alamo city.
Think of all of us tonight during the game.

Jurgen, I'm with you bro! All the way, brother. The only difference is the games start at 10:00 PM down here in Brazil. It sucks hardcore not being near our friends and fellow fans. Sucks a big one, but sadly I have lots of urgent business I'm attending to so I'm also missing this year's Finals live. NEVER AGAIN, though.
Anyway, we'll be watching together in spirit, bro!

Here in Brownsville people gather at Buffalo Wild Wings they have about 5 jumbo projection TVs and and numerous 27 inch tvs.I am pretty sure next season alot of people will gather at the Hooters.I know I will.
Wings & more in SA had only one wide screen TV and the sitting sucks.There were'nt too many fans there so my wife suggested Hooters and ofcourse being the obidient husband I am we went there.

I remember when the Spurs came to San Antonio in 1973...they were called the Dallas Chaparrals, something goofy like that.
Anyway, thanks to all you fans who don't live here for supporting our Spurs. It's also good to see Spurs fan in the audience (on TV) when they are on the road. It didn't used to be like that.

But I used to hang out in the QC. I went to school in Galesburg, IL, about forty miles south. I saw one of the greatest shows I've ever seen in Davenport. I think the place was called the Colonial Ballroom...does that ring a bell? I also hung out in Moline some. Cool place to be.
