sons there is absolutely nothing honorable or respectable about aging players who have never won a ring jumping on a bandwagon to try and coattail ride for one. Karl Malone disgraced himself trying to do so, no one gives a about Gary Payton doing it, etc. ... it tarnishes a great players name when they try and do that . taking the pussy route.

Seemed like Nash's primary focus was staying close to his children.

so you're happy your team can't draft for ? I'm having trouble understanding your position here.
During The last decade or so, the two most successful franchises are the Lakers and your Spurs. You guys did it by drafting well. We did it through free agency. 9 rings between these two teams show we both know what we are doing.

So yeah, I'm happy that our GM knows how to put a team together.

    Mavs getting Aaron Brooks

    Raps getting Fields

How much disdain will Fields be met with when the owner looks at him knowing he really didn't want him and Nash isn't there

Sacramento, Utah, and San Antonio are 2x to 3x farther from Phoenix than LA. It's a 5-hour drive.

I'm not sure your GM has done anything. If the Lakers were still in Minnesota none of this would be possible.

I don't blame Nash in a way for going to the Lakers, but the "close to my family" excuse is bull considering there are numerous other teams nearly as close to Phoenix as Los Angeles is.

Nash isn't going to be driving from L.A. to Phoenix son lol. he isn't poor. he will be flying and in a matter of an hour or two he could be home from numerous NBA cities.

Team colors a pretty similar too. Purple and Orange for Purple and Gold. Steve Nash must have purple blood.

None of those teams were pursuing him. You aren't making sense.

This is a great trade for LA. The Nash/Bynum or Gasol pick and roll will own and when they pound the ball inside teams won't be able to leave Nash open.

This trade puts LA in the same level with OKC, imho.

I agree there was lots of places he could fly in from. It wasn't like he had to get into a car or bus and go on extended road trips to see his kids. lol, even the mention of that as an excuse is weak.

During the season, Sessions was scorching hot from 3. It's still a matter of will Kobe/Nash pound the ball inside or just pound the ball.

Bynum better be ready to focus solely on defense, too.

Nash is on my list now. I think it's a great move for the Lakers. Nash will get their bigs the ball.

Let's see if Howard can get more pathetic now. Let's see if he now puts LA at the top of his list.

Hey, remember the last time four All-Stars, including a two-time MVP, teamed up in LA?

Chauncey Billups was named Finals MVP.
