If France/TP don't have a bounce back game it will be really disappointing. They were a long shot to medal probably, but they have enough talent to compete. It should be a great game on Tuesday and can't wait to see all the Spurs going at it

Just watched the replay because I wasn't able to watch it live. Wow. Manu and the team looked healthy and ready as ever to compete. I think they are gonna steamroll France.

Don't get ahead of yourselves... Arg looked good, but France also played Team USA, which will make most every team look bad. I also expect Tony to put forth a much better effort, even if he's a little out of shape.

Yeah, if you consider Shepherd's Pie eating gold medalist Boris Diaw and Nando de Scrublo as talents

    France talent >>> Argentina's talent.

Explain how France's talent is far superior. They're just about equal at best, and if anything Argentina has better talent.

Manu and Tony cancel each other out
ARG's 2nd best player is Scola, Scola is easily > than FRA's 2nd best

Manu, Scola, and Delfino >>> FRA's top 3 players: TP, Batum, and Diaw ( as effective as Scola)

I'm in no way saying Argentina will win this game, both teams have large probabilities of winning this one game. But I have no idea why you think France's talent is far superior than Argentina's. I think they're comparable.

It'll be interesting to see who gets the bronze medal. Nobody's beating Spain for the silver IMO.

Doesn't it depend on what bracket they end up in? or is not possible for Spain to play against Team USA until the final?

I can give you Manu/Tony being a wash and Scola being the third best player on either roster (with Noah out).

But after that, France has a clear advantage in depth and talent.

With Nocioni being all ed up physically and past his prime, Argentina has bassically 4 World class players (Manu, Scola, Prigioni, Delfino) and a bunch of scrubs that try to help. Argentina has rotation players that play in "La liga Nacional de basquet" (a fourth or fifth level league) like Campazzo and the two Gutierrez.

France on the other hand has like 6 or 7 NBA level players.
