yep, exactly what I thought when he missed it
Nah, this is it. End of the line. Campazzo is ok, but he's no special talent like a Manu...
yep, exactly what I thought when he missed it
at least they gave themselves a chance... it looked grim middle of the 3rd... but no moral victories... Russia was the better team
It was a fun game.
I'm happy for Russia, Kirilenko and Blatt. They've had a great tournament and they deserved to win a medal.
Argentina has had an amazing generation that can be really proud of what they have done. Their future looks very bleak which sucks.
The good news is that no Spur got injured in the Olympics.![]()
Now that olympics are over, Spurs better sign someone, lol
even when noc was taking it i had a glimpse of 2006 japan shot...just saw the replay it was half way down.
then trip to prigioni, i don't know...
with basketball for ARG back to normal (that is, sucking), time to go back to hoping Messi delivers something, tbqh...
Shockingly, it's a lot like the Jordan Bulls. Before they got Jordan they were flitting from mediocre to bad, then after he left they haven't gone anywhere near the Finals save for 2011.
And Kirilenko was the Russian League MVP. There's no reason he shouldn't beast. Wolves fans should be happier about this pickup than anything else (save for Rubio's return).
I was quite impressed with Alexey Shved throughout the Olympics tournament. That pull up jumper is nasty.

Ettore Messina on a dinner with Popovich: 'He stopped the dinner we were having to toast for Manu Ginobili. Popovich said that Ginobili for Spurs has the same importance Larry Bird had for the Celtics or Magic Johnson had for the Lakers. I was almost crying' (Ettore Messina)
if ur aussie and was watching the feed...lol andrew gaze biggest fkn homer than sean when it comes to calling games...he was all happy and everytime gino touch the ball
Basket Americano @basketamericano
Ginobili: "I think we're better than the way we played today and that's not going to let us sleep, it hurt losing like that today"
This will be the first time in Manu's career as a Spur, that he won't bring back a medal. Will this motivate him to have a great season? Opposite?
On the contrary, he's healthy. Other Spurs should also be motivated - if Tony's pissed enough to throw down his goggles and Mills just had the best stretch of basketball he's ever played...
I think instead of retiring now from his NT he possibly plays in the World Championship again now that he lost in the Olympics. He hasn't officially said he's done yet. This will be the first time in Manu's career as a Spur, that he won't bring back a medal. Will this motivate him to have a great season? Opposite?
Argentina was never the same after the Spurs traded Scola . . .![]()
Manu: "I feel this is the worst moment ever. I feel very sad."
dont cry for me argentina...starting become like the spurs living on past accomplishments...
this is it, tbqh... back to Australia-level basketball...
That absolutely kills me
I never thought for even a moment until the last minute that Argentina weren't going to get a medal.
This is just depressing.
I was looking for some pictures of Manu from earlier games of the Olympics and this site has HQ size pics of anyone, to get the full size, move cursor within the photo for magnify + sign click > view image
