Thanks for being kind to me on Scott's name.I caught it but forgive me. I'm old.
I know that Brooks saw things differently and he continued to ride Fisher in the Finals. If the Spurs match up with OKC again, I'd prefer to see Fisher on the court rather than Sefalosha. JMO.

You're not the only one. I thought it was an autocorrect change, but I now know that Scott Roth is a basketball coach and a former Spur.

The upshot: The Mavs are pissed and the second article lays out a plausible case that Fisher made his pit stop in Dallas for the purpose of his retaining his position with the union.
Since the Utah fiasco, I've always wondered about Fisher as far as being a conniving fella. Then of course he got traded to the Rockets, decided to not even show up for them and pretty much pulled a Steve Francis on them. Using his family as a reason for wanting to get released and weasel your way back to a contender? This guy, now I really hope the Thunder get sent home specifically because I just don't want this POS to get a ring. , send his ass home earlier so he can spend more time with his family......who apparently live in OKC.
SAS called him out today on First Take.
Fisher is just a coattailer. He'll be at home watching the Spurs hoist thethis year, anyway.
Yes, ing whiny ass trick who can't lead a Player's Union if his life depended on it. him and him too.
On the bright side, the last time Derek Fisher was almost directly responsible for knocking the Spurs out of the playoffs, they won the championship the next year ('04-'05).
He tends to hit flukey shots against the spurs but you guys give him too much respect. I know it was a long time ago but the spurs did embarrass him in '07 when he was with the Jazz. If the spurs lose to the thunder it won't be because of him but due to Durant,Westbrick,Kmart,Ibacka going off.
kmart?????!!!?!?!? if we lose because of Kmart we should just put the stallions out to pasture and start the Parker,Kawhi, Baynes,Splitter show.
DALLAS -- Sweat wasn’t the only thing dripping from Mark Cuban during his customary pregame workout on the stairstepper Tuesday night.
The sarcasm poured when the subject turned to Derek Fisher signing with the Oklahoma City Thunder a little more than two months after requesting his release from the Mavericks for family reasons.
Cuban, who said there was “no side deal” regarding family issues when Fisher signed with the Mavs, sarcastically claimed he understood Fisher’s decision to resume his career with a contender.
“His kids are older,” Cuban said. “It’s easier to fly in and out of Oklahoma City than Dallas. I understand that. It’s a decision a parent has to make. Every parent has difficult decisions to make.”
Moments later, Cuban added: “A lot can happen in 65 days.”
This marks the second consecutive season that a former Laker has quit on the Mavs. Unlike Lamar Odom, Fisher at least had the decency to stop cashing paychecks signed by Cuban.
Asked if he planned to stay away from ex-Lakers, Cuban said, “In protection of my [Twitter] timeline, I’m not going to say anything.”

He needs 16 games to be the all-time leader in playoffs games, surpassing Horry. He could get there even if OKC doesn't make it to the Finals (4-0, 4-1 and 4-3 would be fine, for example).
I guess that's all the motivation he needs.
chill..regular season game that doesn't mean ... OKC wins and gets the Lakers, Media, Stern, NBA, ESPN, Fox, TNT, Magic against them.... now tell me, why do you want to win home court?
It's on Nando and Neal for letting TOSB Fisher be that wide open.
Stragglers and those given to denial should try to quicken their pace about now.
