How the do you lose to a team that does not have its best player and your team is pretty much 100 percent? Just pathetic. The Mavs have no one blame but themselves. If they weren't pussies in close games, they'd probably be the 6th or 5th seed with the possibility of getting the 4th seed. All of these close losses are going to come back and bite the Mavs in the ass.

I don't get Dallas; Nowitzki is one of the greatest clutch players of the last 10 years and you have bums like Carter and Mayo taking last shots instead.

Ask Carlisle. You could add the issue that Carlisle is often playing Dirk and Kaman together, although it has been proven that it doesn't work. Dirk with Brand - yes, Dirk with Wright - yes, but that's it. Alongside Kaman Dirk becomes a decoy.
